I'm not talking about the modern "TTRPG character creator without the rest of the TTRPG" CYOAs, I'm talking about the original definition.
Just tried downloading this on iOS, opened it on a app called Documents and it wouldn't let me delete or move it, said I didn't have permissions. After that it would proceed to still make a copy you couldn't delete and would still take up space. Thought I should say something because that sounds like a virus to me. Had to straight up delete the app to get rid of it.

This game is somehow my happy place. I don't goon much anymore lol, but I will just randomly fondly think back on all the interesting and fantastical shit I've read in this thing. It inspires me in interesting ways. It's an insane literary spaghetti maze, but tbh I think it's my favorite thing on this site. Largely due to the fact that it's consistently updated for so long lol, been checking in for fucking yeeeearrrrs. I don't even mind the fact that it's 95% dead ends anymore I just love it for what it is.

Well here we are! Finally doing the first beta release of Devious World!
(If I'd been less out of it last week I might have thought to do the public release that Friday, but I was too spaced from lack of sleep to realize how close it was to the first. I also wanted to get more written today, but things out of my control decided I was not to be allowed to focus.)
Anyway! I had a lot of good ideas over my vacation, most of which started in Devious World, but Mundanity wound up getting most of the focus with Michika (and her spinoff daughter Michiyo), and then right at the end with some new stuff for Kona. In all:
Devious World:
- Main: Buddy staying in on Christmas Eve has a new early branching point.
- Main: Continuing with Cass as the "strongest futa alchemist".
- Main: Cass can also stick with what she knows after trying the Espresso and Eggnog coffee pods. (Short.)
- Main: Layla has another school option when her father gets transferred.
- Main: Cyan can check her Steam discovery queue after deciding to stay on the computer.
- Main: Cyan can tell the shop girl at Stuff You Need she wants something adventurous.
- Main: Michika has a new retrieval job
- Main: Michika can say she thinks she fell asleep after her "session" at the Hex Clinic.
- Main: Kona can now choose Paladin from her class cards. (I put pictures of her friends in the folder, but they're not linked inline.)

After all these years, I've finally realized that the experience is like I'm playing SillyTavern, quickly starting a particular scene in the various world cards, then stopping after 30 rounds of dialogue because I've cum, and creating new branches the next day, permanently stopping the last storyline in its tracks.

Public Release: Devious World b2, Devious Mundanity a46
Heyhey everybody! I am going to be word-censoring a bit this time, as I've heard that the certain company everyone loves (though I'm not entirely sure why tbh) may yet again be on the warpath. I have no idea if this is true, but let's just be a little on the safe side! (Plus it kinda looks funny!)
In World, we have a bit of a new game for Cyan. This release is the same as the incremental, so if you've seen that it's the same.
In Mundanity, we have quite a bit more stuff, with

Do I need to start doing a thing like this? Does it need a catchy name like "State of the Devious"? I dunno.
But here it is!
Anyway, last month I asked you about kinks you wanna see. (Most people were very good about reading and following the guidelines I put down. Good for you! Headpats! Headpats!) I haven't read them all thoroughly or checked the numbers in detail, but I did pay attention as I got notified of them, and some did wind up going into this month's release. I'll look them over a bit more closely soon.
(Just remember, please don't get disappointed if yours don't show up. It's just me going where my brain takes me. I do like to experiment and occasionally try to make sure I include stuff I know people are looking for, but at the end of the day I'm gonna write what I wanna write. It's how I've always done it and that will continue to be so. That said, I do like that so many people actually spoke up to give input on this occasion... sometimes when I ask for feedback it's a little quiet.)
Anyway, I'll probably occasionally do another similar post, just to see what's interesting everyone and on your minds. I may keep it at $1 tier or something, or not, depending on the nature of the question I'm asking.
Anyway, there's probably a few more things I could include but my allergies are starting to do some cruel things to my head, so I'll call it here for now and catch you guys next time.

- Raz putting together a crew ("You bun of a bitch, I'm in")

why do I see images that hint at a text image hybrid game, but from my playthrough awhile back haven't really found said images. I do like text games. it feels to have more story based freedom, but I feel they need a proper accompaniment of relative images. alot isn't necessary but some is needed to build an image in ones head. It's why I debated to have some images in my book.
