It's kind of physically impossible for it not to. Every new scene added removes 1 dead link and adds 3 more. Nothing for it but trial and error until you find which paths lead somewhere.

For anyone intrested, here is a python script (the attached txt file) to change the HTML. It adds a number behind every option, which indicates the length of the longest path till the end. If you want to use it, just change the variable in the program and drag the output file to the image folder. The effect is as follows.

Man, makes me sad how its basically just been devious jamie/cyan for the past [significant feeling amount of time]. Personally I've been high key over these two lol. I wanna see more stuff with the older characters RAHHH
Also, is it just me or do like 75% of paths in this whole devious multiverse lead to fucking a dog somehow? Like I'm a degenerate gooner so of course I have no qualms with some fictional dog fucking now and then, but the sheer quantity of it is like bro, come on now, maybe at least try other animals sometimes or something? Maybe people? Mix it up a little lol

It's actually good that autor concentrated on something one for now IMO. Other way around, with nature of this particular game... everything just would have nonexistent content. With this approach at least something will have decent development rather just everything having dead ends.

hey, just downloaded. why are there three different html files? Also, what is the path mod? I don't quite understand.
The game had to be split into different files because it was too big for the interpreter, only the files that got changed in an update are present in each download, so you will be missing some.
Path mod let you see what choices led to the specific scene you're currently on.

Change the attached file to test.py, open it. Change the variable at the end of the file accordingly: path1 should be the path of the original html, path2 is where the generated html should locate. After that, run the script. You can see an html file at your assigned location. Finally, drag the generated html to the location of the original html (with the image folder there). Double click the new html and you should be able to see the number and play. If all above bothers, you could always throw this reply to AI.
Dogs, followed by raptors, then dragons, but I'm going by gut rather than by count. Also, over the years, I think the amount of dragon caught up with or beat raptors.
As a degenerate that squicks from bestiality, my squick-o-meter says dragon and raptor combined probably meets or exceeds dog (page-wise, not sure about word count). Unless you count furries, in which case dog+dog/wolf-morph blows every individual category out of the water. Unsurprisingly, there's a rather large number of voters for more bestiality and furry in Skooma's recentish poll.
Other than that, totally agree on wanting to see more from some of the older characters. Mike, Tanya (side character from Jamie), the shy college guy, Celeste (the woman living out of her car). Pretty much any of the characters would be interesting if they got more attention. Skooma comes up with too many good ideas.

What? Wheres all this dragon stuff? I love dragons lol but the only dragon stuff I remember encountering was the whole dragon dude arc with gwen or whatever that was, was one of the earlier things I read. Also yeah I was kinda counting werewolves etc. lol but even without them, still so many dogs. Also I don't remember seeing any bird(?) stuff? I never really fucked too much with devious mundanity tho if its in there somewhere.
Dinosaur raptor rather than bird. First time I started seeing them was one of the female starts going to worldland, jurassic park style. Then Devious made them into this whole space race of sex tyrannids that in one route turned out to be genetically engineered bio-weapons that were too smart and turned on their creators. One route lets you actually get turned into one. Pretty much any sci-fi route that starts giving you horror warnings/vibes in the blue-link, it turns out to be raptors.
Gwyn probably has the greatest concentration of dragon (thanks for reminding me of his name), there's at least one in Cyan (one of the RPG routes I think, dragon-morph), Jamie (short one after getting transformed into a doll and giving self to Tanya), Michi-something from Mundanity has one route where she ends up spawning a mini-route half-dragon daughter (named Michi-somethingelse). A decent number of high-fantasy lines will have an option to get turned into a dragon (usually anthropomorphic) or sexed by one (I want to say usually not, for the literary zing, but I don't remember because I skip reading the actual sex so I don't scar my double-edged memory). Also, if you see anything dildo related, there's usually a dragon-morph option in there on top of dog, at least red-linked.
Edit: before you get too disappointed, I'm pretty sure the Jamie one I listed ends straight after the transformation happens (same with all the other options on that particular line). I believe the next red-links were deciding what to do with Tanya.
Edit2: Cyan one I'm referring to is in the library-TRPG section. I think there's multiple dragon branches in there (might even be a dragon-morph start in the monster races options). The one I was thinking of, she steals an artifact that transforms her. There's at least one line where she gets sexed by a dragon morph, possibly one by a regular dragon.

-The individual characters with the largest amount of writing is Jamie and Cyan (followed by Kai, then probably Eric), who had to be split up into their own files. Either way, that's mostly breadth over depth. You'll only find depth by luck, because author has ADHD and writes routes as and when inspiration hits.
-Red-links aren't promises, they're potential ideas and you shouldn't get your hopes up or think they will ever be written. This isn't a project to be completed, it's a jungle being explored until the author dies or gives up. Given they've been doing this over a decade, the former seems more likely.
-Author goes the way of old CYOA books, where choices veer into completely different directions all the time. You thought fetishes here were restricted by route like some sort of game giving you agency? Get ready to run into dog sex a lot. Author even lampshades it in one scene with Cyan's aunt that there's a glaring lack of continuity between choices (one choice they enter someone's basement and get murdered in the secret sex dungeon, go back in time and open a drawer instead to look for evidence and they aren't a criminal and never were). Eventually given pseudo-continuity by using multiverse theory and the GIPSE guild of interdimensional mercenaries.
-Deepest link is in Kai's route in Mundanity. It's RWBY fanfiction and led to the author writing an (incomplete) multi-volume novel on AO3. "Kai's Story" under the name SunDragon. Fair warning: everyone in that fic and their mother is either homosexual, bixesual, or becomes bisexual.

Good god there's so much shit in this game I don't think I've seen any of this stuff before (skimming some of the routes I was able to find from what you're talking about) and I've been reading/playing for years lmao. Thanks for enlightening me though bro I appreciate it lol
You're welcome. I have, quite literally, pressed every blue-link in this CYOA. I know too much for my health, allowed my eyes to wander to places where angels fear to tread and seen things that cannot be unseen. It is my necronomicon.
(For Skooma, it's probably just Tuesday and their ADHD was playing nice)
