The boss room should now be accessible. The spikes that were in the room in which you got the ladder should have disappeared, letting you access the bossroom. Remember to save in the room north to the kitchen because the boss is hard.
Thanks man, now i encountered the same problem as you. After the dream on the couch I woke up and go to the office and there is none. I thik I donwloaded the fixed version, but the problem is still here.
You woke up after the couch scene and you went to the office? You shouldn't be able to go to the office after the first dream sequence in the newer version.
That doesn't surprise me. The gem is in the old church but the event is below characters because for some reason RPGM decides to be a terrible engine and default to that instead of same as characters. Which means it's there but you can't interact with it. The other item is in the Ashton Castle Library.
In one of the only houses you can enter, there is a key under one of the tables. After you get that key, you'll encounter your first enemy. Kill it then the vines should be gone.

Hey, after talking to the Private Detective for the empyrean empire (at the start of game), the game turns black. You can see nothing but you can still move aimlessly. I paid the game 4€ and would be glad if you fixed this problem, thank you~
Not sure how I missed that, it was running as parallel instead of autorun event. I uploaded the bug fixes for that and it should be good now. I'll continue to bug squish when I get back from work in the evening. Another bug that's possible is one of the first major bosses attacks might not work properly, I've tested it before but the way it figures out damage/location is different from the other attacks. It shouldn't break the game but if you get hit by it, it might not do anything to you.
