Overview:
Dick Matena is a Dutch artist primarily known for his comic book adaptations of classic literary novels. This collection contains "Red Ears" and "They Are So Nice", two anthologies of short humorous softcore comics. Probably the sort of thing you'd find in Playboy. Unlike Little Annie Fannie and it's ilk, the characters are actually drawn more realisticly and not like a Sunday Comic Strip, which is why I'm more attracted to these.
