For players:
I remember that just two games made me cry. Active lesson and another game where a girl jumps from a bridge (can't remember the name). How about you? Did a game manage to make you cry and which one? (Not because it is so bad )

For developers:
Do you get emotionally attached to your characters? Did you cry while writing the dialogues? Because I never thought that will happen but I cried three times already while writing the dialogues for my game and I can't be the only one.

Cry cry no, but getting teary eyed yes. If it can make me feel things, I'd assume it would resonate or show the impact of the dialogue.

yeah, lots of avn's has made me cry during emotional moments, but "acting lessons" and "leap of faith" is the two that hit the hardest. don't really want to replay those, even with how good they are written. not recommended to be played by anyone that is in a "dark" place themselves.

Teary-eyed, yes. I only check a few western AVNs when I remember them, but Crimson High has such a moment with Suzu. Happily teary-eyed during the heartwarming moments + the ones in Goddesse's Whim. But I think I've become more emotional to (some) tragic drama in fiction in general.

Teary eyed, yeah, with the ending of "Demons Roots". The only adult game to do so, and one of very few games in general.

Yup, Acting Lessons and Leap of Faith are the two that come to mind.
The former for the story itself, the latter for the story behind the story.

I'm falling in love with some of the characters I've created. When my computer went to the police for a year, I thought they were going to jail too. Now they're out, thank goodness. But I still feel ashamed that it was my fault they went to jail.
