Review of v0.08a (to be updated in future updates) -

Pros -
Decent Plot
Well timed music themes
Beautiful Artwork (for all characters except Videl. It's lovely how the characters are now revamped.)

Cons -
None. (Well yeah, there were issues with artwork in earlier versions but they've all been changed in a really good way. So yeah, no cons)

I like the premise of the game, and for the most part I dig the art style for the girls. However, my minor complaint is that some of the art is just wonky, with Vados looking older than one would expect a relatively immortal angel to look, and teh same goes with Bulma but less so. My major issue is the inconsistent art style. when I saw the girls as hand-drawn, I was alright with it. And even though the Oracle Fish wasn't hand-drawn, it made sense in my head since the Oracle Fish isn't really all that significant in the first place. However, seeing Yamcha and Frieza as how they would appear in the anime instead of a hand-drawn style really threw me off. Personally, I would prefer either all the characters be hand-drawn, or all of them have the anime art style. However, I am very interested to see where this game goes in the future!

Divine Adventure has a premise that has been done before, in one way or another, but an interesting take on it none the less. While currently, there is only two real routes (and both are unfinished), there are prompts and answers indicating that it could expand quite a bit.

Some of the options are underutilized however. The "Super Power" you choose at the beginning is rarely relevant, and some parts of the game require knowledge of Dragon Ball Super (so for a Dragon Ball traditionalist like myself, I was screwed [specifically mortality level; you have a bet with the gods about whether you can get a higher mortality level than them, but paradoxically, higher in this case means lower. I am assuming that is something explained in Super, but not in game, until it is too late]), although it is rarely, if ever, crippling.

Some of the premises are interesting though, such as your creation of a mortal in your own image (the explanation of how their society is so advanced when she is in her teens, when you created the said girl during their society's Bone Age [pre-Stone Age], is not explained though, and bugged me).

While initially skeptical of the plot and premise, I was soon blown away by the art and the direction. While at first, I felt the game was lacking in the features department, the plot soon interested me enough to ignore any potential slight. Later, the game mechanics were found to be absolutely fine, I was just lost initially cause I'm a fool. Otherwise solid game and I hope to see more from this promising project.

Review based on v0.6 :

A lot of positives for this game: great art, good writing, not grindy, a fun story-line that picks up after the tournament from the anime, solid mix of girls so far straight out of DB universe, its got some serious potential. Plus, it's a freakin English DB adult game, I mean awesome right?

Maybe because of all that I just mentioned, I find myself somewhat disappointed with the game. I know what you're thinking, let me explain. The thing is, the art is great (if you're fine with the dev's representation of DB characters, I am btw) however, the H-scenes are incredibly bland imo. It's not the setup or flow, all that works well actually, it's the fact that this game has opted for the single-image scene layout. Which makes it... unfappable?

If you're looking to just play a cool Indie DB game with some sexy pics d/l this right now. If you're expecting this to be your next fap material, meh. I'm hopeful the dev's will come back and add more to the scenes at some point, either way, it still gets a 4/5 from me.

this is honestly really solid I was laughing most of the time playing this and rarely do I have the will to read all the dialog in games, but with the comedy, badassery, and plain stupidity the story throws at you I simply couldn't stop wanting more. The art style is also really clean and well done bulma caught me off guard due to the fact she doesn't really resemble much of the anime version (face wise) but I eventually got over it. Android 18 was really well done and pleasing to look at, but some of the other characters like videl have really wonky body proportions i get the allure of big butts and boobs but sometimes too big can be a bad thing smaller hip sizes on some characters could really push this game to the next level I feel. However, this will definitely be something i have an eye out for in hopes this receives many many more updates its not often I feel compelled to write a comment let alone a review so this game really has something going for it. High hopes for this.

Very nice art, the story is as a whole enjoyable, and not too grindy. The writing has occasional imperfections I think, but its still quite enjoyable. I can't call it perfect, but I look forward to the next release quite a bit.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, though I feel like there's an overemphasis on overly well-endowed women. Would be nice to get some slimmer girls. Overall would rate closer to 4.5/5, if you like the screenshots then you'll probably like the game since it's not overly grindy (at least so far). If I had one major gripe, it'd be the sliding puzzle minigame to train, I dislike those kinds of puzzles.

Another thing would be different results in events depending on skill and love ( corruption), but that may come later. The game is still in an early version.

This is, unexpectedly, a very good game. I decided to give it a try being a huge fan of dragon ball and of course Vados lured me in with that art, and I was half expecting the same stuff from like every other game based on anime, but actually the minigames and choices are fun, the art is obviously very good (I especially like the thickness of most of the gals :Q ) and the story gives an okay insight to why you're the only available breeding material in the universe. I very much look forward to future updates.

As someone who has absolutely zero clue what any lore or characters are from Dragon Ball, I was completley lost as to the story or characters. But that's ok, because this game obviously wasn't meant for me. So what I could judge it on, I found fairly decent.

First the artwork is very good, maybe not the best, and there are some times where it is flat out lacking, most specifically the backgrounds. This is a shame because the characters in the game, well, the female characters at least, are all sublime. Seriously the art style on Android and the angel are top notch. Unfortunately that only throws into contrast how absolutely terrible some of the other artwork is, like the fish and minor one off NPCs. Also there are times when a character has a LOT of lines, but no art work, so you're staring at a very flat background (the backgrounds are pretty terrible). But again, the good artwork is REALLY good, so it's sort of a mixed bag.

Next up, the plot, it's beyond inane, but I'm sort of led to believe this is what you'd expect from DBZ? So we'll give that a pass. Again my own lack of knowledge on the subject is limiting here. But I feel like even if I did have a grip on lore, there'd be some seriously extraneous moments. I'll give it a 5/10 just based on what I suspect is staying fairly true to the lore of the show.

Finally we need to talk about the system. It's decent, but not great. The puzzles are a really nice touch, and while simple, were one of the bits I enjoyed the most. It's nice to see a puzzle system that actually works inside Renpy. However the stats don't seem to matter more than twice, and it feels like the author simply gave up on the idea of using the puzzle mechanic as a way to gate content. This feels like a bit of a shame honestly.

Overall, decent little piece of work, but if you're not a DBZ fan, give it a pass. You'll be lost, I was.

First found this starting with v.4 and I must say it's got a decent amount of content already. Excellent game and very fitting of the Dragonball universe. One of the better games on this site and worth playing. The visuals and writing are top notch, and I cannot wait for the next update.
