DLsite (and some other big nsfw distributors) found an absolutely delirious solution to the CC problem but i'm not sure it'll last for long.
If you check Steam (and to know where to check but just checking dlsite as publisher work) dlsite & co are selling alot of "loli/petite/uniform"(or with slightly bigger body some became oppai loli) without any tag at all (lol yup look like it's working) and even if those game are flaged they just come back with different name yup CC are ok with that if you let them get their % via steam apparently.... that even more "fucked up" than i thought . i guess CC just don't like asian nsfw if they don't comply with the rest of the world after all ....
That's not necessarily DLsite or other storefronts themselves doing that, it's the people who are publishing their games on there. They have autonomy over what tags get put on their works and are allowed to edit them. They are encouraged to properly tag their stuff when publishing there but it's not mandatory for them to be exact so devs have been taking advantage of it when they can, most just properly tag their stuff though and ends up getting region blocked.

No, DLSite isn't a very good market to sell your game in, at least not for western devs. Steam is the current place where all devs aim to be in.
but the majority of adult game devs that produce quality content aren't western devs. like I can't even think of a big western game developer that produces only adult games that are actually good games such as Eushully for example

Steam apparently now no longer allows games to be updated with NSFW content post-launch.
I assume the "get the patch from the puplishers or dev website" isnt affected because its the player seeking out a offsite patch.
But that in essence means the end of nsfw content devs cant finish on release or dlc idears. At the same time it affects the structure and plans how they make money during development.
Pretty much one last step away from outright banning all nsfw games.

first google hit is:

which doesn't seem any different from steam reviewers already telling the devs before now during content reviews to not expand on the existing nsfw and instead strongly encouraging to release any additions to it as separate dlcs so that can be reviewed too (they don't review every single update/patch the game gets). if it wasn't explicitly in the content rules and now is (at the least, the "updating your game", that was linked in one based-on-reddit-post article, and "content survey" steam docs weren't updated in the past half year at least, except for removing one unrelated fearmongering "so, a customer just has to check a few boxes and they can get my game taken down?" question from a faq), then they simply clarified what was already being enforced.

btw maybe you wanted to discuss it in:

Thank you for the additional information! The way i gathered this made it seem like the "DLC" only policy is so they can review the content for CCs mandated banned topic easier or maybe faster. In the end how they enforce this depends on CCs continued pressure.

Fun fact if you go to the Elder Girl x Younger Boy then change your language to like Japanese Google translate like what it says now and the tag says "One Shota".

So did DLsite completely nuke VPNs? even with one running I can't access the site, even after clearing cookies (And I used to be able to access it without doing that anyways)

Nah just looking at it with a VPN Server based in Japan. Works fine.
