Ren'Py [DMD] Android version not installing

Hey.
I'm really new to all this and stumbled upon this game. I wanted to try it on my phone, but everytime it just says that the app couldn't be installed. I got enough space and stuff. Does my phone need to be rooted for it to work?

Well yeah, I'm not that stupid, you know. I did use the apk I got from here. It still won't install

Been playing a few dozens of renpy titles without any problem on my old phone
Are u sure that u have enough internal space around 2-3 times of the apk file size and already allow the unknown source installation? And if by any chance u're using android O then u might want to try to installing it on the sd

I usually save mine, then move to SD then open...
