Do you frequently watch voiced hentai game reviews?

Hello everyone. I've been a voice actress for hentai games and SFM for a little over a year now, and I really feel like exploring new ways to work. I am toying with the idea of producing voiced reviews for various hentai games that I find on this website and others. The reviews would feature gameplay footage, of course, and probably focus mostly on RoR genre. However, doing all of this would require a serious time investment on my part. I would like to gauge interest before I launch into it. So, a few questions for you:

1) Do you frequently watch hentai game reviews? Before buying or just whenever?
2) Do they affect your decision to buy and download a game?
3) Would you ever donate for regular reviews and other voice works? Would you ever subscribe for such a thing through Patreon or Subscribestar?

I appreciate your responses, even if they are flat "no's" to all of them. The purpose of this is to gauge actual interest in this venture. And feel free to recommend anything else you might like to see instead!

No, your input if very helpful, Akamari. Thank you. I’m just figuring out if this is something many people would care about, or if I should devote my efforts to other voice acting pursuits. RoR is a genre that stands for run or rape, I think, and it usually involves sprites as characters and sex as punishment.

1) I don't think I've ever watched, or listened to a voiced review for a hentai game. I do read reviews all the time however.
2) Yes, if a game has both really bad, or really good reviews i'm going to be more likely to play it sooner. Of course I've gotten around to most games on the site anyway so I don't think it really matters in my case.
3) I can't really see myself supporting someone monthly for reviews, Its hard enough for game devs to get my money.

I don't think you should rule it out however. I hate to say it, but there are a lot of people out there that will give you money just for being a girl and having a cute voice, even if the content isn't very good (not saying yours wouldn't be). I guess it would be more of figuring out how you could make yourself known to them and grab their attention if anything.

I absolutely don't know. I depend of the quality and the effective interest.

Well, if they are in easy, fully articulated and understandable, English, (think about the old BBC) perhaps. Else, what's the interest to watch something if I don't understand half of what is said ?

I don't watch any at all, mostly because I have no knowledge of any person making voiced reviews of porn games. The other part being that I'm not a big fan of reviews in first place, and they certainly don't influence my buying habits, if I have doubts about a game, I just pirate and try it for myself, I don't need anyone to tell me if it's worth it.

I do however have a few regular gaming channels I subscribe to, mainly people with similar taste to mine so I can discover games I missed, so I don't write off the possibility of watching porn gaming reviews as long as: the content is well written and the delivered, not terribly biased and generally aligned to my tastes.

As for monetizing, personally no, but since youtubers, streamers, etc make a big chunk of crowdfunding money and adult gaming holds a respectable slice as well, there is probably some comfortable overlapping to live off. I do recommend reconsidering on specializing in the RoR genre, you're already going for making reviews of an industry that's not making all that much money, so picking a niche might not be the best idea to start off. Instead starting as a more general approach before focusing on what you like and your minions like more

Yeah, I don't watch and wouldn't watch voice reviews of anything. I mean, I also usually turn sound off for porn and porn games... I don't watch normal video game streamers because why would I... Usually won't watch video manuals or video how-tos... I'm not a fan of voice chat, or even telephones, to be honest.

So I guess I'm a straight set of "no," although I should say that for normal video games I'll usually check user and game site reviews when they're available. That's only if it's a game or a genre I've just been toying with.

(I am of the opinion, though, that there is probably a viewership market for a blog or other type of review outlet for adult games of all kinds. Although it ideally would be a VNDB-type thing for centralized organization and categorization of adult games of all kinds, with reviews being a sidebar.)

There's actually a guy that reviews both anime and hentai on his YT channel, with about a million subs. I thought you were going to do something like that. How "inappropriate" was your content going to be?

I am not familiar with any voiced porn reviewers out there either. That's not necessarily a bad thing- it means my idea would be novel. But it also means that it's risky, which explains why I'm approaching this cautiously. Thank you for your advice on the RoR specialization. I just imagined that would be the easiest genre to capture gameplay footage of, but I recognize that I might be putting myself in a niche box there. I will think about expanding.

Right, and I do not want to come off as superficial with these reviews. I do actually care about these games, and I enjoy articulating their strengths or flaws. I guess the balance that I would need to find is earning credibility with these reviews while still being sexy and fun.

If you liked Parasite in City, Ghost Hunter Vena is good. I really liked Cloud Meadow, Forest of Blue Skin, and the Succubus (Libra Heart) series.

Ah yeah oops, didn't notice the date on your original post haha.
I took a look at a couple of your videos and although they probably aren't the sort of genre of game I'd play I enjoyed your videos. You've got a nice voice to listen to and you spoke about the games very well. I hope you make more in the future, there aren't enough people reviewing/talking about games like these.
