Do you unwatch completed games?

Lately I've been noticing how many of my notifications are for long since completed/abandoned games that I pretty much just open just to clear the ping. I'm about to go through and start chopping some and thought it was odd how it never occurred to me to unwatch any before. What have you done with games the games that you were once interested in enough to actually to the watch the thread?

Yeah, I unwatch threads for completed games. I only watch threads to keep up with development/releases.
A lot of threads turn into argumentative cesspools or toxic positivity circlejerks that are not worth following.

That is why I started watching them too. Unfollowing any had just never even entered my mind, it kind of felt like I had just unlocked a new feature . I was curious to see if other users "saw it as an option" and actively manage their watchlist.

I sometimes watch identification request topics in recommendations section when what requester describes sounds interesting. And unwatch those when the game was found (instead either bookmarking that one, or not)

And I keep watch for some completed older games I like, in case someone has a problem in software or in-game that I can help with, or not.
Sometimes I unwatch (with sort of regret, mostly for my lack of memorising well) when I notice I no longer can remember the details well enough to answer questions.

Generally the only game threads I watch are those which I want to discuss something, or help other people out. For monitoring games for updates using a tool like F95Checker is a lot more convenient, since it'll notify you only about update releases, not when anyone posts a comment in the thread.
