Yes, I use AI for everything graphic design-related.
I wanted to hire a graphic designer for this project, but no one wanted to.
Yes, I have weird hands and I don't have the talent to correct them properly.
And yes, I don't have the talent to do all the graphics correctly, I admit it, I apologize.
Yes, the characters, despite dozens of occurrences, are sometimes different from one to the next, even though I try to maintain consistency between them, especially Hermione.
In the meantime, if I had to wait for a graphic designer, I wouldn't have done anything.
Besides, I'm also learning programming.
What was supposed to take me a few days to create the gallery took me a month and a half.
Why?
Because what I wrote works, amazing, right?
But not on my computer at my professional friend's house.
He didn't understand why it wasn't working on mine; he didn't change a single line of code to make it work on his.
Neither he nor I know why it works on his computer but not on mine.
The gallery kept crashing the game for no apparent reason, on my computer and on the computers of some of my tester friends.
The problem was solved by changing a single word on my computer. Yes, it's that simple, and it took me a long time, despite the advice of a professional friend.
In the meantime, if I had to stop here, I would do nothing.
I am determined to continue delivering my game to the end, however imperfect it may be.
For now, the game is only a draft; the interactions, spells, and map are not yet ready, and given the delay, they will be ready for the next update, 0.4. However, again, that's not why I'm going to stop.
If this really poses such a problem with the characters, I'll change my approach and, like the others, create a base character with modified parts instead of offering many images of the same character, but each one slightly different.
I'll remain attentive to your feedback throughout the creation of the game to improve myself and the game.
