Seeking Does anyone know of any sandbox type games?

Looking for some adult games with sandbox style. Go anywhere do anything sort of idea.
Something that doesn't specifically need you to do a story to progress with the characters.

Obligatory reference to Girl Life , Son of a bitch and similar games (depending on whether you like RL image games and the QSP engine).
It does not get any more "sandbox" than that. There's not even a main story to pursue for the most part. Just character arcs and side events.

You could also check out Last Man, if RL images is your thing. Quite enjoyable story, and lots of interaction.
