I see lots and lots of DAZ, but I never liked Daz Studio. I've been using Poser since about 2003, though, and I have lots of stuff. I can't use the Genesis figures, but I have others that Daz doesn't get! (Project Evolution One shown.)
I'm glad to hear someone here uses Poser. I used Poser to make animations ages ago, but I never got very far using it for renders. I like Daz well enough, though I do prefer the Poser animation controls. Since I didn't invest heavily in Poser content, I didn't mind switching to Daz. I like the figure renders I get with Daz. I don't love the environments rendered by Daz.
Are there other alternatives for scene-building and rendering? I don't want to use Blender; I have ZBrush and I use that for modeling and sculpting. I suppose Maya and Max are good for world-building and environment-making? Daz environments never seem real to me.
