If Fernando has actually pasted on, then obviously may he Rest In Peace, it's of great sadness, a true talent lost. He will be dearly missed.
If that is the case though I'm extremely surprised that there has not been ANY official notice ANYWHERE at ALL on the NET!
Someone would have to know and it would appear somewhere on the net!
The only posts are random comments from unknown contributors, a total of what one sentence with absolutely no details what so ever!
It would also be very very surprising that DOFAN or someone else would not try to cash in on his fame by releasing any material they could posthumously! Like a best of compilation etc. The way the death of famous people like musicians etc is milked for all it's worth by unscrupulous parties involved, think Best Of's!
I've read a few different views via recent posts of whose arts best etc. Everyone has their preferences, based on art, storytelling etc and obviously it's more than their right to do so. "Each to their own" as the saying goes.
When it comes to personal taste, can anyone say someone is right and someone is wrong, no it comes down to "what makes your juices flow"!
Personally I've felt as a total package, Fernando's art and storytelling have been more superior to other artists. I personally feel Slashers art (style and quality) is probably the next best, but the extreme BDSM becomes a turn off for me.
For me, Erenisch art is decent overall, don’t get me wrong. Some stand-alone images (stills) are exceptional, but the main body art for me is of lower quality to other artists I find. For me overall the quality is not in the same league as Fernando, Slasher, Kitty Hand, Moffett, Roberts, Wayne Wine etc etc.
When it comes to storytelling I totally disagree with papermate123's post above. I find Erenisch stories / story telling very very lazy, it's all the "same same" basic premise of a "world order" where women have no rights and are just sex slaves, there appears to be very little difference between stories really, yawn….girl comes of age is sold as slave….etc etc etc! Fernando did that theme in the "Invaders", "Women Hunt" etc series, and did it just so much better, and then went on to do other varied story lines.
In comparison to Erenisch, Fernando has a plethora of story variety that is very diverse. Some fantasy, Sci-Fi etc and some which is quite realistic, based on history etc e.g. Indentured, Convent Assault etc. Then just look at the cheerleaders series, or A Hike To Hell, Cage Truck, Hard Ride, White Slavery Ring, South Of The Border etc etc etc, it has a realism you can basically believe, that these situations could take place in reality.
Anyway, could crap on and on and on. Some may agree with this post, some may not. As I wrote before, "Each to their own". That's the whole idea of this thread and forums like this, to share info, content (obviously) and diverse viewpoints.
