They are or were mostly a thing in sports and wrestling stuff. But I wouldn't mind it being a thing for gamedevs. I'm sure there's quite a lot that could be written on the likes of YandereDev, Deka, Bo & Koda, Redamz and so on. Transcribing a shitshow can be entertaining at times.

so far into the game? yes, you need to interact with certain objects or specific dialogue in order to trigger it if I'm not mistaken, and I avoided it entirely

Seems they plan on using Stable Diffusion and training it to replicate Shakies art style.

This is objectively good art but compared to Shakie's the dominas all look the same aside from their hair and clothing. This would work if it were what we were used to but the change to this is more jarring than the art change from Highschool DXD season 3 to season 4.

It always kills me how AI handles hands. It's just hilariously bad. It's like how I handle folding a fitted bedsheet.

I agree and I don't understand why. AI can make amazing arts with a lot of details, hands and feet seem impossible to generate with it. While a simple basic version of hand/foot could be easy to create and work fine, (just change the angle and color) but no, no... we always get a sixth finger or twisted limbs...

Maybe train an AI how to code while at it, might actually get a playable update then.
I don't know man. You can see how the quality got a bit worse at every new Domina. How is AI art going to help with? The first few Domina's had a lot to offer. The newer ones barely have anything. How is AI art going to help with that. Is it impossible to write a scene while waiting for the art? Deka can use AI art if he wants, would save the game money over paying a real artist, but do people really believe the issue is the artist while the game quality has been going downhill and each update takes longer and longer?

If I was Shakie I would be burnt out from drawing so much too (with line art + shading + coloring + anatomy and everything) so anyone has suggestions on how to hack around it without resorting to AI art? Maybe getting artists who can replicate Shakie's art style? Using 3D models with 2D shading in Blender? Rigging models? What would you suggest? I think the best option is to hire more artists who can replicate her art style, no?
(also, I can see AI being used as a tool to help color and shade, but in my opinion it can NOT replace artists as the drawings there are amalgamations of Shakie's drawings)
