I did beat the recent update. I will say there is plenty of valid criticism to be levied at this game, but also a lot of praise should be thrown its way. I do like how every girl does feel unique, as well as the twist that the Grim Reaper was Edgar the entire time. Though with the recent reveal that there were 16 dominas and not 14, Dekarous needs to remember Chekhov's Gun, otherwise it adds nothing to the story.
Damn this game is extremely unbalanced even in the gameplay, with some classes like the channeler that can freeze enemies infinitely. oh well that doesn't even matter since from the beginning you can use "shadowbound" to be immortal
That twist was obviously unplanned though, it doesn't track at all with the Reaper's lore in Rosita's domain.

Yeah the reaper twist came out of nowhere and felt like it was added there just for the lolz. It makes no sense at all.

Agreed on the first two both counts but I disagree about the Reaper reveal. Time travel is a plot device that removes the stakes from a story and makes the characters basically meaningless. Plus I liked MC having one non-romantic person who could be at least somewhat of a friend. I really hope it isn't revealed that Horace is actually Edgar from another universe. As for Checkov's gun. While I wouldn't say the other two Dominas need to be included as characters they should still be referenced in the lore. I would also like to see more Fae references.
There are a few bad-ends but not an actual ending yet. You can get the bad-ends by:
- Any Domina: Submitting to her.
- Madeline: making her dislike you too much (Choosing the wrong dialogue options).
- Worst Girl: Any combination of disobeying her and/ or climbing over her fence. Or "Not upholding the rules of etiquette".
- Harley Queef: Raising her anger too high (Choosing the wrong dialogue options) then max out sanity (You really do NOT want this scene).
Hora: Go toward the Red Light.
- Ruby: Go into the light...

The Reaper reveal was actually in the works for a very long time, there was even an early image of Reap-Ger in the files since before the dialogue options were added.
