In all honesty a sexual Monopoly is a pretty unique game concept. And i guess i can say that they have succeeded in creating something similar to erotic monopoly. Yet the reason i only give this 3 star is very simple, the critical flaw of this game is that it was based on Monopoly, which as you know, is a board game designed for a group of people to play together. Playing Monopoly-like games singleplayer feels... sad, its just not the same if its singleplayer.

Kudos for the devs for pulling this off, but why?

Great game. I like that it's totally bisexual and that the point of view is edgy. Wish there was a bit more strategy, being a board game, but it's better than a lot of things on here in that respect and it works. :)

A very simple game, but a fun game. A typical board game where some skill and a lot of luck control your destiny. Dev updated it in 2.0 to make it really easy to mod, so you can choose your own images, characters, etc.) Also, you can choose your own characters and which images appear. So you can play will all men or all women or a mix and only hide images that you don't want to see. Very customizable for everyone.

The obvious way to describe this game is 'knock off monopoly but with sex', it is fairly obviously aping a lot of its mechanics from the game so it should serve as a good foundational knowledge from which to analyse the rest of the game.

Regarding gameplay, it is highly symmetrical with all players four starting in a different corner of the board, the spaces mirror each other across the board and you navigate the board spaces by rolling dice, you default to rolling one die but with each roll you build up energy that if accumulated can allow you to roll two or even three dice.
If you catch up to another player you will see a brief sex scene and you steal one dominance point from that player, the goal of the game is to accumulate enough of these points to reach the goal number while preventing other players from doing so.
Some of the spaces cause unique mechanical interactions but these for the most part seem to not last long, characters that both land of a love space fall in love until the next time someone lands on a love space which prevents either player from harming the other, when someone lands on a love space again which breaks up the two players causing them both to lose energy. There is also the marriage space, probably one of the most annoying spaces in the game, when two players land on the same marriage space they become married until one of the players is dominated by another, during this time they share dominance gains and losses but when one player is dominated they 'divorce' causing the dominance accumulated by both players to be sum upped and split evenly between the two this tends to cause games to drag on and needlessly frustrates the process as it can drag an ahead player back into the pile, if this was in any way strategic it would be praiseworthy as a catch up mechanic but like anything in this game except like everything else except the number of dice you use it is wholly down to random luck depriving it of any strategic depth and so only serves to lengthen and frustrate the game. There is also a mechanic where players landing on non special places 'claim' them leaving them with a number value equal to the dominance of the player at the time of claiming, if a player with higher dominance lands on the space they claim it themselves and overwrite it with there own dominance value while if a player lower dominance lands there the space remains with its previous owner and the landing player loses one dominance, this is obviously there to enforce monopolies spiralling lead effect where those ahead gain momentum to force the game towards a conclusion (which then raises the question of why the marriage mechanic was added to frustrate this process) These spaces also allow you to roll again if you own them and land on them.

The sexual content is a number of short clips that play when players over take each other along with some images that appear when you land on certain tiles. The content is average but may be more appealing if you are into the bdsm fetish which the game obviously focuses on given the subject matter. The way the game is structured you are are likely to see your character in a dominant and submissive positions fairly consistently throughout so that may pose some issues if you are not a switch or otherwise do not care about such things.

On the whole the game is just what you would expect if someone took monopoly a game which is famous for being deliberately frustrating in order to serve as a representation of the dangers of unchecked private land ownership and then loosely bolted on some half baked mechanical alterations and some sexual theming. The gameplay is frustrating to deal with and since almost everything is just chance and the sex scenes are both short and randomly spaced it is hard to feel any satisfaction from achieving them.

If the dev has any ambitions of this being anything more than a poor monopoly clone I would suggest taking a serious look at the game balance and gameplay loop; what is meant to be satisfying about playing this game that wouldn't also be achieved by loading up a random bdsm porn video on a porn site? Fundamentally it is always going to be a struggle to wrangle a monopoly clone into a game that is fun in its own right but I would certainly say a good start would be to review the special spaces on the board so that they push consistently towards either a genuine strategic use that requires thought to achieve rather than chance or act in coherence with the background design philosophy and try to push the game towards a conclusion rather than frustrating that outcome.
