I'm disabled, and make 0 (Zero) dollars a year, for the past four years, so no, I cannot get the game already on itch.io. I imagine people frequenting a pirate forum already weren't going to pay for the game regardless, so what is your goal in uploading only the demo here? It almost seems like a petty way to stop us from playing the game for a time, since you can't really advertise in a traditional manner with demos on a pirate forum. The people here that could purchase the game would be the ones who played it and enjoyed it enough to spend money after the fact to support you as a developer. But if you offer it only as the demo, which we could have gotten just as easily on a site that wasn't a pirate site, I imagine it means that particular subset of possible supporters wouldn't bother with the download to start with.

I genuinely hope you get plenty of paid supporters, the game looks like it would be a lot of fun. But I implore you, please upload the early access version here so I and other people like me can try out the game you have put time and effort into. The alternative is simply waiting for another forum member to upload the early access version, or searching other, shadier sites where our systems could potentially be at more risk. I'm sure the ideal situation for you is "buy my game or don't play it at all" but life is far too short to rob ourself of pleasantries because we can't make money, and piracy is an inevitable part of internet culture.

EMERGENCY FIX
TL;DR
I came back home super tired. Started finishing the update version. I checked the game and it was working fine. Then I had this idea to maybe add Steam Widget to the main menu. So I did just that. And I uploaded the new version without checking this time, because I was sooo sure adding a silly widget to main menu would not break anything. Aaaand then I went to sleep.

Guess what.
It did.
Everything.

I am terribly sorry. I wanted for my first update to be grand and flawless.
I wanted to make a good first impression so badly. And I screwed up all the way from top to bottom. (((

I updated a hotfix and it should be working now.

All credit goes to Graty. He was the one who reported the bug and literally saved the day. I would not have know otherwise. I'd go enjoy the weekend with a unplayedable game, perfectly ignorant about the dire situation I'm in.

This seems great but a few issues, the Film Grain has got to go and its a little hard to try anything to give a full evaluation when its all locked behind FULL GAME.

Film Grain just makes something even harder to see, I have black and white static in my vision 24/7 so add another layer on top of that and.....

maybe make it a option?

Alright well I can't really say if the content is here. One loop, the voice needs to be a separate slider. Voice sounds like some yiff howling rp stuff more than any girl i've been with enjoying herself. Plus there is is no transition between the voice lines and the moaning effects, which sounds like they've been recorded at different times by different people based on the pitch changes.

I see the tags here but I don't see the content really able to reflect those tags based on the demo. Swapping physics objects between your dildo and other dildo objects doesn't really do anything for me.

I'm not sure where you expect the game to be by your 'release' date, but the the premise sounds at least interesting and I wish there was more to the demo than a single scene/2 positions. The teaser images not being in the playable version uploaded also seems off to me.

The assets of the girl not being modifiable besides skin colour and hair colour is disappointing. Going bigger / smaller and taller/shorter would be nice, even cooler if it was tied into gameplay personality changes 'bimbofication'/'megasukification' of the girl by the demon. standard stuff there to go into mindbreak/impregation kinda content too. ya know deals with the devil and all.

There isnt much content like this out there, closest i know is the doujinshi: Shiofuki L*li wa Muhyoujou

Everything noted, and I agree with a lot. Sorry to disappoint Please check the Roadmap and see if it reflects what you would like to see in the game. And if something is missing, please, by all means, do tell.
You might believe me, but I am reading everything - everywhere. There's just a lot of that "everywhere". all social media, forums, discords, itch, steam, then the feature request form fills, then the DMs and emails... I read them all and I try to reply as soon as I can. Sadly, sometimes the delay are even days

Ok, so now that I'm finished with the major stuff for the release, I can give you a list of what has been added. Because, you know, it's not like I just pressed the "Release" button and that was it. Oh no. I haven't been gathering dust all those months. Check this out!~

- New Location: Old Classroom
- New Location: Car Garage

- New Accessory: Horns
- New Accessory: Halo
- New Accessory: Earrings

- Customisation: Fingernails color change
- Customisation: Eye color change

- Polishing: Eyebrows now have the same color as head hair.
- Polishing: "Beaver" got a bit bushy
- Polishing: "Backdoor" fun now looking better
- Polishing: Sweating got a bit wetter
- Screen Noise On/Off

- New: Over 200 lines of voice over (<---here half of my salary went)
- New: Interactions with Amelia! (Right Mouse Click in game!!!)
- New: over 40 new music tracks and in-game radio
- New: Mood and Weather!

Hopefully, this will reimburse you for all this waiting.

Hi guys. Phew. Didn't expect another announcement from me so soon, eh? Well, I am trying to make it up a bit now. Thank god I set the release right before the weekend, so I can have time for all of this. I cannot imagine how I would get by in the middle of the week. So let's talk business first.

If you have not been living under a rock all this time, you are perfectly aware of the Mastercard/Visa/Collective Shout thingy. Some weird evil power clash and Valve/Steam got caught in the crossfire, with me and other devs (and you, of course) as hostages. And for the time being, we have no choice but to comply with the new reality. The problem is: the new situation is very vague, and the rules of this weird game are not really set in stone. So, from Valve, other devs here is a list of "Do's" and "Don't's" I am currently aware of:

Don't's:
- An adult-only game cannot have Early Access.
- Video games cannot have adult-only elements. Those elements have to be shipped separately as DLC and reviewed by Steam.
- Adult-only video games cannot have Adult-Only content expansion. Any NEW lewd content has to ship as DLC.

Do's:
- I can patch bugs.
- I can add Quality of Life updates
- I can add new content as long as it is not new Adult-Only content

How this works in practice:
Example 1: I add VR version of the game -> good.
Example 2: I add a new fun position to the existing Amelia model -> good.
Example 3: I want to add a new lewd model -> not good. Have to be via DLC.
Example 4: I want to add a new BDSM dungeon mode to the game -> not good. Have to be via DLC.
Example 5: I want to add a new toy that works exactly as the one already in the game -> good.
Example 6: I want to add more storyline to the game as long as it's not spicy -> good.
Example 7: I want to add support for extra wide-screens -> good.
Example 8: I want to add controller support -> good.

See where this is going?
TL;DR: I will keep working and expanding the game, even on Steam. But some stuff might be either delayed (because they have to be reviewed by Valve) or will be missing (if Valve judges them inappropriate and rejects them).

(っ◔◡◔)っ What's next?
Expect a small patch within up to 6 days. I do not have the means to expand the game too much on such short notice, but I will be:
- Fixing some bugs
- Bringing some QoL stuff
- You will also get full support for controllers (Easier to take your Steamdeck with you than haul your entire PC - for those who don't live alone *wink wink*)
- Steam Achievements
- Steam Leaderboards
- Community Items/Point Shop/Trading Cards (they just got unlocked!)

I might be able to do something more, but I do not want to make promises I am not certain to deliver.

First of all, THANK YOU!!! Thank you all. Even those of you who left negative reviews. I understand where you are coming from. The game is supposed to be Early Access. I was not ready to go Premium, and now I am in "Fk Around & find out" timeline T_T. For my defence, I really had no other choice. It was either this or drop Steam. As I promised, I will keep expanding the game for as long as I can afford it. The entire Road Map I posted months ago is still what I am aiming for.

That being said, when the Steam release was far from disaster, it also... well. It's not enough for me to quit my daily job and work full-time on Amelia I am sorry. I am not a dev team. I am not a company. I am just a girl making lewd stuff after work. I cannot take the risk, cross my fingers, and hope it's gonna work out somehow. I don't have sponsors. I don't have a rich boyfriend or parents. There is no emergency plan. If I take the leap of faith and fall, I will feel the full impact. There won't be any cushion to save me. Understand this, please. Help is not coming.

That being said, there is nothing in the world that I desire and dream of more than being able to work full-time on the game. Trust me. Just as the game name is Dreams of Amelia, this is the Dreams of Laura. It brings me joy. It makes me happy. It makes the sad voices go away for a moment. But I am not quite there... yet.

same for me, living in a small town where your only possible place to get a job is where your brother offed themself is really demoralizing, and having to live off of family makes me feel even more pathetic, so having the ability to not spend money on video games which my family don't like, makes me feel like I contribute at least something by not wasting money on myself
