Why would you think so? It hasn't been even four months since the last release. Do you know something that we do not?
It's because they're a terrible combination of lazy and in need of immediate gratification. Too demanding to wait a reasonable amount of development time and too lazy to look at the date of last release or click the patreon link to see the constant and consistent updates. It's best to either resign yourself to always answering the question or ignoring those that ask.

Well, he's alone working on that and he makes around 140$ a month and has a day job and all, it's understandable..
also he just published his alpha update
