It should be possible to do yes. Although you will probably have to watch tutorials on how to do so because odds are you will need to use a third party app. Apparently an app called FilesByGoogle should help with this. You will be able to change the js file name and I am pretty sure it will also allow you to copy and paste the file into the game folder. I am not certain though because it is something I have never tried.
Here is an AI Overview of what you may need to do.

Yes, it's possible to copy and paste files into a game folder on Android, but you might need to use a file manager app and potentially open multiple windows to access the "Android/data" or "Android/obb" folders, which are typically where game data is stored.

Here's a breakdown of how to do it:

1. Accessing the Game Folder:
  • File Manager:
Open a file manager app (like Files by Google, Samsung's Files or a third-party app).

  • Navigate:
Go to "Internal storage" > "Android" > "data" (or "obb") > [game package name].

  • Multiple Windows (Android 11+):
Some file managers allow you to open multiple windows, which can be helpful for copying files from one location to another.

  • Split Screen:
You can also use split screen functionality to have two file manager windows open simultaneously.

2. Copying and Pasting:
  • Select Files: Find the file you want to copy and select it.

  • Copy: Tap the "copy" or "more" icon (usually three dots) and select "copy".

  • Paste: Navigate to the destination folder (the game folder) and tap "paste" or "copy here".

  • Drag and Drop: Some file managers allow you to drag and drop files between windows.

3. Permissions (If Needed):
  • Write Permissions:
You might need to grant the file manager app write permissions to the "Android/data" or "Android/obb" folder.
  • Root Access:
In some cases, especially for older Android versions, you might need root access to modify these folders.

4. Alternative Methods:
  • PC Transfer: You can connect your Android device to a PC and transfer files via USB.

  • Third-Party Apps: There are third-party file manager apps that offer more advanced features for accessing and managing files.
I do not know how much this will help but it also linked a video on how to do this. I did not watch it so I do not know if it is accurate. I will link the video below.

But the main task is editing content? Idk, since I would not use that app. Basically (nearly) everything you need resp. multiple ways for android are mentioned in this post. You can use joiplay and directly edit files (nearly cause f.e. mixplorer as mentioned there has a code editor too). You can edit an apk and reinstall it. Or if you did root your phone you can edit files of an installed app.

I made this tampermonkey userscript back in 2022 that is still futureproof (dynamically edits the js files with regexp rules and reroutes them to a mock api server).
If you know regexp, you can suggest rules and replacements.

I mentioned your thread in the OP so that people don't spam this thread with posts asking for an update.
I was and still am too lazy to update it whenever a new version comes out, so until a final version comes out people can use your version.
