I downloaded this straight after the first game, so I did not even realise it was just an intro. I was surprised when the credits rolled when it started to get good. Looking forward to future updates!

I found the controls to be annoying... movement feels much better with the arrow keys + x for menu, instead of wasd + esc for menu. The way you have it for this game feels too cramped, and I do not understand why you changed it from the first game.

I know this feature will not be available for a long time, but please do not use the gallery menu from the first game! It was not a good experience getting kicked out of the whole menu after selecting one image.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll run some tests with the arrow keys, just like in the good old emulators.
If you don't mind, could you clarify what you mean by "cramped"? That would help me understand it better.

The Gallery will be a Gallery Room rather than a menu. A room feels more easier for both me and the player.
Again, thanks for the feedback! Hope you had fun.

I will try to explain it. (I am using a laptop, and this might just be a preference thing)
Current movement/menu controls are all located in the top-left corner of the keyboard, meaning you can only use one hand to move between both of them.
If you switch it to Arrows + X you can use both hands to speed things up. Also since you have to move through dialogue/interact with things, Spacebar is right next to X. With this setup you have access to all the important controls, all the time, without moving your hands.

Awesome news.
I was worried when I saw grid-based combat at the start (very time-consuming) but when I got to the ruins/forest turn-based combat I started having fun. I love the 2D art.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll do some tests this way, with the key arrows.
