rightstufanime and many others do what they do. Ebays loss, not ours. And who uses Ebay anymore?
Millions of people. They get roughly 800 Million to 1 Billion page visits per month. eBay is still ranked #2 worldwide in ecommerce. It is the 29th most popular website in the entire world, 13th in the United States.

The internet is fluid. Hh dies, another site replaces. Ebay no porn? Then people sell it on craigslist or something... Adult content will never go away...
The problem is that there are only a limited number of payment processors.
Once any site becomes famous and widespread enough, it will come under pressure from idiots who want to decide what content or goods are acceptable and which are unacceptable.
And the payment processor often joins the pressure.

There are a few very powerful influential companies that can enforce their rules on almost any business around the world.

As of now Ebay is my number 1 store period. Granted, between their price increases, charging tax, and no longer offering sitewide 15 percent off discounts I might be changing that.

This is sadly the case. It's a couple very powerful bad apples that are ruining things for everyone rn :(

I am getting real sick of all this moral posturing from these large companies. I am going to have to start using Bitcoin real soon.

Years ago, eBay made it more difficult to sell pornographic magazines through their site and competitors such as naughtybids.com cropped up. Similarly, Stormpay and other methods of purchasing adult magazines online were in action for a time.

Eventually, eBay and Paypal got with the program, slowly enabling such auctions again. The competing services went out of business not long after.

I'm guessing that other online venues will come in to attempt filling the void, though this push towards abstract censorship of adult materials - for adults - continues a troubling trend we've been seeing the past decade or so.

Get rid of the porn? But somehow it's ok to sell sex toys over other items like gym equipment on Amazon during a pandemic. I mean honestly best of luck to them. For many banning porn is a major 1st amendment rights violation. At least that was their excuse in the past.

We'll see what happens. I don't really care either way. I'm fine with eroge games. Talking to people these days is too much of a pain in the ass.

Just as more competing sites stepped up before, this time we need payment processors to do the same. I never looked at their magazine selection myself but seeing this makes me glad that we live in a time were torrenting and upload sites exist.

That does help, though my old collection of 1970s-era-ish porn mags is not yet fully represented through Internet shares, from what I've seen.
