The chef gives you pics just for doing a good job at work, you don't have to battle him. 13-15 and 58-60 probably should have a little more clarification about what "again" is pointing back to, but I'm pretty sure they're all referring to 7 (check the University reception). You ring the bell and keep spam asking the receptionist if you can speak to Ember until she goes away and leaves you alone, then you look at her phone. You've probably already done that if you're not asking about 7-9, but there should be nine of those pictures from the receptionist's phone in all.
Chef never gives me a picture I have used all 3 settings and even earned 20 money but no picture.

I never got a picture from him until randomly I went in to work and there was a fourth difficulty level. I did it perfectly and he gave me the second picture. Maybe whatever trigger is there to make you eligible for receiving pictures doesn't activate until the fourth difficulty shows up, not sure.
Ok the game has a bug so easy and normal mode does not change the time to 60 seconds it's locked at 30 seconds. Hence impossible to complete as you have to finish 6 orders and it does not respond that fast at all. I extracted the file and modified the default value so I could get the pictures needed.
1. Timer bug it does not change with difficulty level
2. Skip a Day (time does not actually pass every other day for receptionist but if you skip a day event does not trigger to get new picture)
I have over 500 money now due to all the attempts to get the chef pictures and was not possible until I hacked the variable by extracting the game and editing the script file.

Not if your 50 like me and don't have the reflexes of a young adult especially in 30 seconds. If the easy level was working properly than it would be 60 seconds that is what the code shows but that part is bugged.
there is 9 pictures of the receptionist so the ONLY one that can't be unlocked is 42. What you have to do is go to sleep and every other day you will get a new image from the receptionist phone but do not use skip day that does not work at all with receptionist. Just nap until you can go to sleep.

Sorry, but the title says "Ed shares with the curious" that's the one I dont have
I don't remember but it's an event with Ed did you do all the events with Ed? It's the Elf picture so It has something to do with Ed and the conversations but can't remember which one as it is one of the earliest ones I got.

It's a pretty minor bug but I just started the game and in both the first two battles it says "Ed begins" but in reality I get the first turn, which was a little confusing.

I believe that's the one you get if you ask Ed all the questions about the game in the library.
Yep I'm and old warez hound. When it was still BBS with 15kb/s downloads with a 128K ISDN line. I was also in a release group that brought adult games over when JastUSA and G-Collections first started translating them. We took turns buying the game than had friends that hacked them so they would run on a burned CD.

This bug has been fixed in the latest update. Please make sure you're using the most recent version. I’m really sorry for it, I know how frustrating it is.
1. The timer is working as intended. During the tutorial (your first time learning), you have 60 seconds (and less, easier, orders), but afterward, it’s reduced to 30 seconds. I know the last levels can be quite tough, but that challenge was intentional for this non-essential part of the game (and the reward it gives). That said, I may introduce new ways to access such content later on. Tip: You can press spacebar to confirm the order a bit faster.
