RPGM - Completed - Eden Crest [v1] [Olympus]

Another game with great H but ruined by the gameplay.
This game has wonderful character design and one of the best art styles ive seen in a rpg maker game. However this is ruined by the grindy, repetitive combat, chance based character drops, and massive mazelike empty maps that you have to wander in to progress. I dont understand how these fantastic assets were wasted in a game designed like this.

great beta, not finished game, recommend skipping out on, would be good if a lot more content got added, premise was promising, but nothing happens to the girls as you level up, there are only 2 stale pngs of the girls from the front and from the back, "sex scenes" are just a png, not animated

Game had so much potential but the end result is sad. really missed an opportunity to transform the girls as they level kind of like pokemon. blue man dick?!? even though the art seems rushed, kain your art work will be missed

Is actually a good game, really pokemon inspired with the elements and the "trainers". The visuals are top as the other games but the problem goes in the gameplay.
Lot of grinding and fight to try to face the city bosses to the point i used Ce on the third and that wasn't enough for the next like, at all (-1 star for that).

So as a great pokemon fan i like this game, lots of stuff secrets to find dungeons to explore hidden legendary bots sexy girls very diverse types and you get more then just the loose battle for sex scenes you also get the friends with benefits stuff to unlock the level up system can take very long so it is good if you like playing games while doing something else like waiting in a train or something if you want to pass time, while watching youtube videos lets plays or netflix it is this pokemon formula that just works i also like the animations the game has big boobs and big ass so if you need to relief some stress or want to fap after some long day this game definetly works, i started with Lilly because she her boobs been the best, she was a great healer and all, but became kinda useless for fighting later in the game after the last trainer defeated i spend lots of time finding all bots i train the legendarys and finding the secret dungeons and rare candys or what it was called inspection tickets, was kinda fun it feels very rewarding to see your bots grow to level 50 i still have to defeat the final boss, i have to say the story similar to most pokemon games is... it is not realy a story evil girl is evil go fight her also sexy girls will help you on your journey defeat trainers that are gym leaders like pokemon and if you win you earn the right to breed them and make sure strong children are born, if you have a thing for impragnation good for you, i am not realy into that, but it is okay, the art is sexy and all, i heard some people on this side say the other games of this dev are even better, so i am going to try them, the game is a bit small, it does take time to finish do not get me wrong but it has only like 5 main areas and the hidden dungeons, so i was going to say this game is a 7 / 10 but i love giant boobs, the boobs in this are so great this is why i give it a 100 / 10 perfect game.

Not exactly like pokemon but it definitely scratched the itch I had since kuro. Great Game, a little grindy but you can always cheat. No complaints from me except for the lack of 'evolutions' that i expected since the 3 starters moment. Very skimpy outfits and character design.

I don't know why this game gets so many negative reviews,

The lack of content, as Zion mentioned its a side project with the direction being quntity over quality which can be seen in this game, and if you read Zions massages about this game you aren't dissapointed.

I find the game loop to be fun in you capture Darkia from the desert part as instructed by one user here, after you boost her up she is OP and carries the game making it more fun.

The art is amazing, the OG artist is back with vengance, hope he is here to stay and we see him work on this project and SC respectfully, maybe even saving SC Warlock Sega that was lacking in the arts department.

The soundtrack is awsome(Espcially the last zone damnn its good and addictive).

The setting is also amazing having a harem of robotic waifus, both young and milfs is awsome, each has her own personllity to boot that is amazing.

This game has potential, here are couple of ideas if Zion doesn't abonden this game due to bad review lol.

Add more personlity and dates with the bots, improve maintinace making in more lewd, touching their other body parts as relationship progress, make the bots unlock special abilities with higher relationship. Sex unlocked after sertin relationship goals. Fetishes like millking, anal, bdsm etcc.. that are tied to the bots, which have their own uniqe fetishes, sex enhansing the combet and sex toys improve abilities such as butt plugs, vibretors ETCC...

I also would like this game to be seprate from SC and turned into its own thing, since I see potential in it.

This game is VERY lacking, with a few major flaws to boot.

• Money grinding is a nightmare, with money being used for everything necessary to make the bots stronger except combat itself
• Everything takes too damn long to get any level of strength.
• Too little is explained (btw, the home is your type circle, you know how fire works just follow the pattern)
• The girls are lacking in everything except curves, which is a fucking travesty.
• At some point, I lost the ability to target enemies, which is an insane thing to experience.

And after all that the ending is the most "Your did it" shit I've ever seen in a game of this weird ass scale.

Kainkout fuckin' carries this game fr, because every girl is hot despite being a cardboard cut-out with pre-written lines

BTW, just save edit shit in, crank the bonus xp of the classes so that they're about level 50 and you can enjoy the 4 moves every character has. Also healing moves suck, don't use them, they get weakened by special/magic defense of the target.

It is a great game but not worth to be called a year project zion dont need a year to create this game. There is alot of things lacking and a lot of thing that can be improved and added. Yes it is ggreat the game come out but this is not a year result game.
Succubus covenant have cut scenes and lot of side stories like MC brothers, high elf, succubus queen,succubus bosses in each area but in this a year project there is nothing at all.
Conclusion
As for combat there is nothing interesting going on though it is zion job.
Also for main story nothing interesting plus no side stories,event and it is zion job.
Music is great but it is not zion job.
Arts are great but it is not zion job.
game script has no effort at all and it is zion job.
Arts are done before the project start and u dont need a year to make this bgm.
So why a year? What zion doing ?

First of all I know what you are thinking,this game is made by the same dev who made succubus covenant,its true but what is also true is that doesnt make all of his other games automatically great too,I know this is supposed to be a "side project" or so we are told,after playing this game im more inclined to call it a waste of time and dangeriously disgusting with the child looking enemies and allies,like cmon man,why you make them look like kids?

The music is probably the only decent thing about it,usually good but not really that original or able to convey special events,emotions or thoughts as they do in some games like MGRR (although thats no porn game to be fair)

Im dissapointed in the skills department,each bot you unlock begins at lvl 1 despite being from different lvl areas,each bot should start according to her area like for example: bot from area 2 that is water themed should start at 10 lvl as are the lowest there.
Each bot starts with only 1 skil,unlock another at 5 but not at 10,not only is the whole process confusing but the very limited amount of skills makes for stale combat.
Elements and other thats about the game arent really explained and there isnt a menu to look them up at your leaisure as in other games,bots arent shown their elements in the combat,you have to guess or wait for them to use a elemental spell,the thematic is also weird since the 1st area boss in the plant area includes monsters from the 2th area too that you dont have access to by that point,what is the point in saying that area is water elemental if you will find all kinds of elemental enemies?
Its bad that its a very limited amount of elements (4) with nothing special to make them threatening .

Very Limited items,very small map,extremily limited interactions with your bots,none with NPCs or enviroment,outside of the map is a weird void area but its nothing is said about it. Only 1 scene that is the same as the defeat scene for your bots and even those are mostly bad,little variety its like the same scene over and over again. The first map is extremily bright which is annoying.

The most heinous part of the game is the child looking bots,most of them look like they are 10 or 15 at most,even the game at the start says that all are supposedly 18+,if you need a disclaimer for that then its quite clear there is a problem,i barely stand to look at them, scenes are a big red line,the game does contain some "milfs" thank God and they look decent but its too little too late,their scenes arent that good nor with a few save the game,WTF is wrong with you zion? You had to have approved them even if you didnt draw them yourself,how could you include them? They make you feel almost like a pedo and I aint one.

After more than 2 weeks of playtesting (how the hell did it take them so long?) and months of developing simply didnt materialize,like where did that go to? You can do better than this zion,dont be lazy and dont lower standards so much,fans wont overlook it,just look at the score of the game.

Stick to Succubus Covenant and dont ruin it.

Like the main series Succubus Covenant this is a side game focusing less on the story, however in return it has an excellent variety of characters and character designs. As an Erotic Pokemon like collect-em-all, it performs its role well and has excellent art.

Side game or not it is a 1 year project game but like a month result. Adding 32girls didnt make the girl worth 1year. These pateroner are gretting worse and worse and out of control. I can justify this game is not 1year worth. The worst gameplay ever even gameboy pokemon have lot of variations. I will never play this game normally.

Very fun game with a fantastic artstyle, it may be a bit grindy but nothing out of the ordinary in this genre, I don't get why so many negative reviews.

I highly recommend it. Along with Sakura Dungeon is the best "pokemon" style adult game I've played.

The Game crashes all the time. The graphic freezes but game is still running. Its full of grind and not so much content. Only nude pic was to see shortly before game over.
My experience was not so good with this game. Although nice tits and very nice asses! But with the crashes not playable right now.

Okay guys, after finishing the game, I'll leave my rating and hope it help someone:

Eden Crest is a complete game, so you won't have to wait until the devs decide to finish their projects, at least for me this is a plus, expecially since this game is very short. I took my sweet time and beat the last boss in 7 hours of gameplay. Also, remeber this just my opinion. That being said, lets see what this game offer us:

GAMEPLAY - 4/5

Do you like to grind? While there isn't a absurd ammount of grinding, you'll have to do it, specially in the desert area where you'll see the first spike in difficulty.
The battles are simple, as long as you understand what your bots can do. Some bots are damage dealers, others rely on debuffs, others on heal and some on damage over time. This game also have a weakness system, where water beat fire, fire beats plant, plant beats electric and electric beats water, so you might be inclined to follow the pokemon formula (water is weak against plant and electric, but thats not the case). every bot do have its uses, but there are a select few that will carry the whole game, specially on the last city (drakia is a god lvl bot btw) and there are some its not even worth besides using in a very niche way (specially in the early stages, where you don't have a lot to choose from), and if you stuck with a bad bot, your battles will take a while to finish (in the beginning, dont choose any other bot than hestia, for your sake).
The flaws I saw in the gameplay is, some skills dont work as intended, like blinding, I never saw a enemy miss once, some multi-hit skills fail to check weakness (spark deal 100 dmg on a water enemy, while discharge deal 80 on every enemy) and some skills say something but do another thing (bunny says heal the whole party but in reality it full heals only her). Overall I'd rate the gameplay a solid 4/5

STORY - 3/5

The plot in this game is kinda silly. Two computer science students... I mean two goddess decided to create bots to help humanity, ok, so one of them make the OS and another the frame, ok, now one got jealous and start a beef (not gonna lie, so relatable xD) and now the whole world is in danger and they need a hero to collect the crests, open the way to fight the bad goddess... Ok, its a start but once you start playing, you'll see that no one is really in danger, the crests are being held by normal people and it feels like they really could open the seals by themselves if they wanted and even beat the last boss (the goddess is weaker than the gym leaders). The cities have tons of npcs but it feels empty, since they don't walk, don't say nothing of significance and even reuse lines so, with all due respect to the creators, this feels kinda lazy. But now lets see where the game hides its gem:
You have a little more than 30 bots to collect, each of them have a special line in every city and also they have some personality. I kinda enjoyed to see those special events you get with each bot once you gift them, just keep your expectation low and you'll enjoy too. So I'll stand in the middle and give 3/5 for story.

HENTAI - 4/5

But of course we have to mention it, after all that's why we are here right gentleman? So, first the artwork is OUTSTANDING, holy big momma cow, I might be a little biased cause I simply love volumptuous woman (even married one) and my man, this artist knows whats good. The worst artwork is in the first stage so if you like what you see in the beginning, be ready cause it will only get better. The bots have two CG's, front and back and two sex scenes, which I find kinda low, specially since one its a defeat scene (game over btw). The scenes haave some blur to simulate movement and for a hentai game its kinda tame... vanilla even so you'll have to stimulate your kinks somewhere else. might be a let down for some and for me, i couldn't care less (i've been playing some strange games latelly so I had to get my sanity back). It's in fact a missed oportunity here.
Another missed oportunity is the "maintenance mode", where you increase your bots status (by 2 if I recall corectly) by groping them. And here its two CG's where you put two blue hands on the breasts and later on the butt, thats it. Actually thats a HUGE oportunity, where here you were supposed to do anything (maybe here insert the kinky part) so yeah, no licking, no foreplay, no finger here and there, just a small caress and be happy. The CG alone carried this category and i'll give a nice 4/5.

Unfortunatly, this is a quick game, just finished it and i'd really love to continue playing, maybe a new game plus would be nice, nut I think the devs won't touch on it anymore. This is my personal opinion, hope it helps someone interested in start playing and Thanks for the devs, I really enjoyed my time playing (will totally play again, but first i'll ssee the other two games you have)

Felt like nothing was at the forefront of the game. The Hentai scenes were poor and shared the same art as the romance scenes, the story felt like a hollow plot device for the shit hentai scenes. So it felt like this game didn't know what it wanted to do with itself and just ended with meh.. (also no loss scene for final boss is a mistep)

Pro:
+Artstyle.
+Collecting girls.
+Actually build to last a while with playtime(i know many dislike the grind but i personally enjoy this type of casual grind, allows me to clear my head a bit and i get rewarded for it too).
+Giving every girl their own personality-type, there is something for pretty much everyone.

Con:
-Could have more scenes, yes.
-Combat. And that is me reaching a bit. It is standart, turnbased, type-weakness including combat...nothing to write home about but its not like i hate or even dislike it.

All in all it is V1 of a sideproject. Im just happy we got it since i AM enjoying my time with it. It's simple, but a GOOD kind of simple and i honestly think we as a society steer towards a mindset where we just hate on things instead of finding appreciation in even the smallest things(just an all in all more negative mindset, that doesn't mean we have to praise everything to high heavens). We've been wading trough an astonishing amount of mediocrity and games so ambitous that you can already see the "Abandoned" tag months in advance(not even counting the ones that get dropped because they were half-assed from the get-go).

I like it. I'd like to see it expanded, POTENTIALLY even a straight up "proper"/bigger game in form of a sequel or remake.

The arts are done way before this 1 year project start zion said it by him self when sc artist injured his hand. It was like 2022 jan or way earlier.So what zion do in this 1 year( 12months).
Zion main job is to write Script. He wrote few scentences. Bots live with human and suddently bots are infected by virus. So MC need to collect 4stone and beat the boss to save the world end. It is the script of 12 months.
There are some areas that world map doesnt show there are 2 legendary bots hidden
and the game give no navigation about those area and bots. The animation is pretty good trees,rocks with cyber vein, the sun lightning effect. But lack in gameplay. This is the opposite of Mine Craft (good gameplay combat etc but bad graphic)
And EC have better graphic but rest are so terrible.

Great CGs with an extremely poorly realized concept. The idea of "pokemon" type collecting of milf bots to fight in RPG Maker battles is a decent one.

H-Content:
There's a large number of bot to collect. Each girl has one clothed front/back CG and one sex CG along with a variant for when the protagonist cums. While the design of the girls is fantastic the lack of CG variety and any animation makes the H experience feel extremely dated.

To get an H scene with a girl you must either lose to the enemy in the field (which you'll get a reverse rape type scene that results in a game over and loss of all progress) or procure inexpensive gifts to give her resulting in a non game ending sex scene. Every scene is vanilla sex with any fetish content coming through only in the writing.

The writing is fairly decent and translated well. Unfortunately it has a TON to carry in terms of enticing the player due to the lack of variety in the CGs and it doesn't quite reach that level. The best chance you have is stumbling upon a bot girl with a trope you like and having that lightly touched on in a CG scene (ex: findom, tsundere, sleepy, etc).

All in all it ends up feeling like a very mid 2000's experience with dull static CGs and the H content being completely divorced from the gameplay experience.

Gameplay:
A utter disaster. I'm not sure the creator ever play tested this without debug features but the grind if you play without cheats becomes absolutely insane.

First a rant on the opening: You are gven a choice of 3 bots which you might think is a pokemon type choice that is simply a matter of what element you want but it's not that at all. You get a fire damage dealer (Helia) an all arounder water user, or a grass type healer. Helia is the only bot you need to beat the first boss so picking anything else is simply deciding to slow your gameplay down as she can be acquired through random encounters and is the oly fire bot in the first area that requires a fire bot to progress. Unfortunately this oversight is only the beggining of an awful experience.

Each area has a set number of bot girls to acquire. There are "milf" and "young" bots. The milf bots are, statistic-wise, simply better than the young bots. So anything you do in the first 5 hours of the game is rather pointless as you'll just end up replacing your bots with better ones. This alone isn't an awful idea but when you buy a new bot it starts at level 1. So you'll need to grind you level 1 bot up to face level 20, 30, and 40 enemy bots.

The bots level up slowly. New powers require 5-10 level ups to get and in many cases I found many abilities to be completely useless in the game (example a damage over time ability that goes away in 1-2 turns doing less damage than just attacking twice). You gain money slowly. Everything is very expensive. And to top it all off as you progress in the game you'll face 3 and 4 enemy bots at a time in regular field battles where it takes the player's bots about 10-20 attacks total to kill a single enemy bot.

Conclusion:

If you really want to experience this it's best done with cheats otherwise it simply isn't worth the time investment it demands. There are FAR better entries in the "collect monster girls for RPG maker battles" genre out there.

One of those games that lures you in with the artwork, only for your spirits to be absolutely crushed due to the immense amount of grinding needed to progress the story. The grind isnt even the fun kind either. It's the same repetitive 3 buttons, 3 CGs, win battle, get exp, repeat, until you're capable of continuing the story
