Ren'Py - Edgefield [v0.2.0] [Undercover Pop Games]

The attention to detail in this game blows me away. The opening scene with the various pictures on the wall, to the drive wit the sceneries reflections against the window. Even the in game features, like the protagonist pointing out having already checked the map beforehand, or the ability to decorate your own room. This first update has been amazing, and really sets the tone of what the developers are really capable of.

The cast is also diverse in personality and very likable. I'm hoping that we will see more characters as the game and setting really opens up, such as seniors, profs, and people outside the college. The settings are well made. Can't comment to much on the H content, since there is only one, and it was okay.

All in all, an incredibly promising game, and definitely one to look forward to as it develops every update!

As usual, you're a guy (but, not so usual, you could also be a GIRL), new in town, just moved in to start your studies in a good university. Your older stepsiser is hot, your stepmother is also pretty hot (which makes me feel quite bad for dad in the future updates...), and all the characters overall look quite good.

So what's about this game? You got devs who are really working hard to make the game look good. The art is impeccable, the details are absolutely great, nothing feels out of place, nothing is too unrealistic, nothing is "out of the scale".

So far we've only seen something of an introductory act, as to say that your MC's got a crush on his stepsister, that your stepmother might be into you, and to show the mechanics of the game. Here, you can basically follow a "friendship" route or a "love/horny" route. We didn't dig too far into that yet, but it seems to me that it won't be a closed route, but something more flexible. Honestly, great mechanic.

You can simply flirt with anyone you want, male or female, or befriend if you're not interested. The game doesn't seem to push anything you might not want down your throat. After so many great games with great arts pushing the cuckolding agenda on me, that's honestly a relief.

Overall, great game. Looking forward for the next updates.

This game definitely looks promising, I'm really looking forward to the female protagonist storyline and lesbian opportunities. It feels more genuine and realistic than other lesbian themed content out there.

I did also notice what others were saying where the dialogue feels as though you're treated somewhat boy-ish by the other characters. Other than that I'm really looking forward to seeing the development progress with this game.

Edgefield [v0.1.1]

It's crazy how many people overhype this game already because of it's look.
I like the artstyle but there is so little content in this version that I'm being nice by giving it 3*.
It would've been better to just wait and add a little more content before releasing the first version.
Let's hope this won't end up being one of many games that are just cash-grabs that take forever to develop or get abandoned.
It looks very decent, yes, but i think it will take a while until you'll see the bigger picture and give a proper rating.
For now, it's not really worth playing the game.

For a demo, this was great. Looking forward to the full game. Art was some top tier stuff and already enjoying the game play. Currently short but lots of potential. Also the ability to choose the gender of the main character was a nice addition.

LOVED the premise, very strong start.

Really hope that we'll get fast updates, looking forward to playing more, it was short but captivating. I really like this kind of setting, with a diverse cast and a school that feels alive.

super promising start, the art style is great and welcoming, the couple sex scenes have been well enough animated and the dialogue isn't terrible. i've ranked it at 5 stars because this feels like the start of a really great all time game, I just hope that it's maintained with frequent quality updates. immediate comparison is summertime saga.

things that'd bring my rating down:

1. im here to jerk it. I can see this game going the way of more casual interaction / slice of life content and not having as much / as many explicit scenes. if that'd happen id drop the rating cause it s not my jam
2. interaction elements / activities / chores. again, only 1 'chapter' atm so it's hard to tell, but the few times you have to click or interact it can be a bit irritating. a general feeling of 'why am i doing this'. i dont mind when games have you interact with the environment, it's just a concern mini game activity may become annoying (see another chance)

The art caught my eye. It's clear they've put a lot of care into the design, because visually the game looks incredible. It has a very well-crafted aesthetic and an atmosphere that promises a lot.

There aren't many details about the gameplay yet, but based on what they've shown, it looks like it could be something big. If they manage to combine the art direction well with a good story and solid mechanics, something really good could come out of this.

It's definitely a game I've been keeping an eye on, and I'm looking forward to seeing more progress. It shows a lot of promise!

version 0.1.0 is a solid launch!

• Well thought out character design that will hit you in the feels for at least 2 of them (Jun TWICE!) c;
• Visuals look clean and polished
• Sex animations are stellar!

This game is only gonna get better, any negatives are only nitpicks!

liking this so far....there is very little content even for an initial release. but its quality product so cant really complain much. and since you guys are taking help from ai hopefully it means more frequent updates. all the best with the project

Extremely good art and details so far, facial expressions and whatnot. Writing is legitimately good and actually made me laugh a few times. Really hope they continue this, and being able to choose your PC is really great. Possible customization of looks or stats in the future?

The beginning of the game is very similar to the Summertime, it's a shame we're still at the beginning but it seems very promising, all the characters are very beautiful, the story is well written, it has everything to be successful.

so just played this initial release (v0.1.0) and i like whats here. the artwork is nice and having an introduction section where the majority of the characters introduce themselves as a way for dormmates to get to know one another was a pretty good idea!
i really like the artwork (ai-assisted or not) and thought the females were all rather cute! i didnt play the female route but playing from the male perspective it seems pretty good and the story makes sense so far! each of the characters introduced has a clear personality type and the fact that the game will let you befriend or romance whoever you want is a good idea!

on that note, id like to see more options for each choice instead of just a single option for a friendly comment and a single comment for a romantic option! maybe have like a friendly sarcastic response and a cool friendly response and they each affect the MCs stats and how the other character will view the MC! the same could be done with romance responses which determines if you are a smooth romantic or the bad boy/girl!

the only real negative thing i had to mention about this game was the bit where you choose your pronouns! is that really necessary? wouldnt the game function the same way with or without it? personally i didnt care for that but it is what it is and i know some people like that kind of thing. just personally, not a fan. then the other thing was that there was only one lewd scene before the game ended! was hoping for more, but still enjoyed what was there!

aside from t just being a short demo like experience id recommend this to others and will be watching this one to see where it goes! good luck dev!

Can't wait to see more. Love the art style and the story and characters seem very promising..! My biggest hope for the game is just that they continue to work on it and don't let it fall off into the void like some of these more ambitious projects tend to do sometimes.

Visually it's excellent. Although it uses AI (obviously), it's well implemented and edited, allowing the game to feel fluid.

The gameplay is that of a typical sandbox, so it's up to each user to determine whether it's good or bad.

The story isn't great; it's limited to an MC who moves with his family to a new city and begins a new life, something that's already very common, which is why it doesn't stand out or seem interesting overall.

However, I think the game's biggest "problem" is the amount of content the dev is trying to create with this. First, having a male or female MC, then choosing those ridiculous pronouns, and finally, all the possible "paths" that could make the game inconsistent in the long run.

The ideal is to make a game with your target audience in mind, but here it's clear that the dev is trying to "please everyone," which never ends well, since if you don't like a piece of content, you'll have to wait, because in this update, they focused on that.

It's not a bad idea or game, but it's trying to cover way more than it can handle.

Very good graphic, and the story sound ensticing ! the ability to choose if we want to befrend someone or romance is awsome too.

I usually skip a game as soon as I see an AI tag, but decieded to look into this one since the art seemed different. What usually really drives me away from AI games is that they all look the same but the art is incosistent, which is deal-breaker for me, I don't see that here so far.

The start of the game is pretty okay, what weirded me out a bit is the constant smiling faces, or never changing facial expressions, but mostly the smiling.

The conversations seem a bit unnatural at times, at least to me, but hey the game's just started and things can change quite a bit from here. There's not that much content right now but I think it has a lot of potential!

Great potential! I'm looking forward to future updates from the creator. The character concepts are fun and the art is clean. A game that has full choice path and response is definitely ambitious but worthwhile if it's kept up.

Not a bad first start for this game. Characters look very nice. Story has potential. I really like that you can choose just how you want to go with each character in every conversation. Curious to see if that will incluse his Stepmom and stepsister in the future. Would like to see if we get a choice on using those condoms or not as well. It needs to be a free choice type of game. LMAO. Also going to be interesting to see if MC gets a sharing option available with certain characters with his brps as well. It was suggested in a conversation so lets see what the future holds. Very excited to see how this one progresses and if the stories all develop and progress nicely. Hope there is a bit of buildup before he gets to bang every girl in the game as a lot of games just make it way to easy. A little build up os fantastic and too much is not. Finding the sweet spot in between is the makings of a good Developer. As I said these characters were all presented nicely in the small amount of content currently there. At this point there isn't even a first day of class yet so we must wait to see if it gets better from here. Good job so far.
