VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Elderforest [Ch. 2] [NSFA]

This game is supposedly abandoned and idk if the dev will ever comeback,so this review is sort of permanent.

I did not like the characters and dialogue at all,the dialogue is very vulgar and characters agressive,to some this might be "female domination" i call it abuse and poor writing not female domination,i could give suggestions on how to improve the game but since it has the abandoned tag it would be pointless.

Music is bad in my opinion.

Good shit. I'm liking the femdom so far, but... I'm also hoping for routes where MC develops a spine and takes control, as well as good femdom where MC is spun into a woman's web, leaving him no choice but to submit. Right now most femdom is "MC is a doormat and simply has a fetish for it", which is fine for now but should be avoided as the plot progresses.

The most important part of a game is that you should actually control the actions of your character. If you can't make choices that grow the MC's assertiveness, then not only does it create a cognitive disconnect, but also cheapens scenes where the MC lets go of control, since the player never had a choice anyway.

Submissiveness is all about choosing to let yourself be dominated. If there's no choice, there's less dynamic.

But as I said earlier, there's good things to be said about plotlines where MC is in too deep and really has no options to get himself out of his mistress's web. I just fear that it might be a bit too hardcore for a more general porn-playing audience.

In my opinion, a game which offers choices of submissiveness, of assertiveness, and of recklessness is most likely to get wider acclaim.

nice start!, a bit short for a really serious review, but the mystery the plot is opening up to the point, that you dont only think of the lewd things, but you crave for the twists in the storyline.

i hope, the devs wont get lost in their own plot ^^

A well-written protagonist for those who enjoy femdom-flavored fantasy games; the renders are varied and appealing as well. There's not much content at present, but I'm looking forward to seeing where this project goes.

This is going to be a biased review. I have played the entire first chapter, but I'm not into femdom and I happen to know one of the devs. Just FYI.

- I like the game.
- Music's fantastic in my opinion, and I hear they're going to add more, so that's an A+ from me.
- The story isn't the best I've read, but it's captivating, and certainly good enough for a porn VN. It's even got a few funny moments, whether intentional or otherwise.
- Sexual scenes are plentiful, which I very much appreciate. I used to be fine with porn games teasing you with nudity for ages before finally getting some, but this one goes right into it, and it feels natural.
- Seems to have a good length for a first chapter.
- Some of the female characters start off bitchy, but once they start showing their less bitchy sides, I actually find them interesting. Did I mention I'm not into femdom?
- Overall I like the art. You can tell there's been put effort into making the characters stand out, and they look great compared to a lot of other games that use DAZ to make their characters, IMO.

One thing I am worried about is that part of the premise is that at one point starts to urge you to not indulge in the MC's sexual desires, which seems counter-intuitive for a porn VN.
