Well, I want to make clear that this is not AI art. It is hand drawn in photoshop. (And I know that photoshop has AI tools too.) I'm not the artist, (sometimes he is called Nokte, sometimes xnixx) but the artist gives line drawings and multiple colored versions during the process. I don't think AI works like that. I haven't been able to get it to, so that's why we got a real artist. Just kidding. I don't like AI art either, that's why I got a real artist.

If it's not AI then the guy drawing it certainly is getting replaced by AI soon lmao

literally 12 girls in the cover art, all white
yikes
brown girls, hell even monster girls getting no love
Well, as far as monster girls are concerned, there are two minotaur style girls, but the characters cannot get too far from human before I dislike it. To each there own. We are thinking about adding a mermaid style character, but I'm not sure. But yeah, currently just human, elves and minotaur styles.

Also, there is a character who is meant to have a more east Asian phenotype. But I understand the point. It feels weird to have too much more than that since this is meant to be a high medieval fantasy in a north European style. It seems hard to narratively justify a modern London style ethnicity mix. It would be easier with a modern or sci-fi theme.

Fair enough. I added a spoiler section to the header showing the sketches and early colors for the Abigail Peep scenes from Chapter 1 and 2 (I think, maybe some is in Chapter 3 instead). I understand the aversion to AI. But this is a transparent as I can be. I don't think AI does as good as human artists. I have no intension of replacing the artist.

Kudos to you for not Netflixing your content.

If there's any AI assisting going on in the background then it's definitely not the same as touch&go AI ruining the internet for everybody. The latter would...

-download some stupid little tool
-hit 'go' a shitload times that all look the same
-story cuts off as soon as they finish introducing their idea
-0.0.0.0.1 WIP patreon gofundme kickstarter dontforgettolikeandsubscribe
-----(comes back with an update a month later but it's not content, just added more web links)
-same exact fetishes that have already been dead horse beaten into the core of the planet
-RPGmaker/TextSlideShow with no software improvements and 1990 graphics

With that said, I too got AI vibes at first glance. But the thing is, there are uploaders doing everything I just said with no AI required. This dev at least did a thing, therefore they're at least halfway up the pyramid.

Ai has completely mindbroken this guy
No, I don't think he's that out of pocket.

The CGs vary quite a bit in terms of rendering - even the wips of the same character have clearly different faces in their variants. Is it possible OP is just that inconsistent in his process? Sure.

Could a human paint the armpits, clothing folds and abdomens in the same manner as AI would generate them and while having similar errors to how the AI would do them? I guess.

Is possible he does the same overdone AI backlighting even when there's a clear source of light in the room? Eh.

In my book it stinks of AI + overpaint. I might be wrong, but the more I saw OP's images the more I became convinced he's trying to pull the wool over our eyes. To be fair even if it is AI, OP is doing a fair bit more than the average grifter who is usually just trying to sell us some stable diffusion prompts with the most generic ass plot chipiti can churn out, but I don't think this is 100% photoshop like they claim. Doubly convinced after I tried the game and had a look at the sprites.

Art looks very good, writing is decent (no broken language). But quest guidance is lacking as well as some basic information. The game starts, there's no prologue, no idea what to do, who you are or who is this "Harold" until you run around the map to find him. This could be improved

Just some honest feedback to improve the game :)

Also lots of conversations are repeteable which don't make sense: e.g. helping the rich man in the southern town (which gives you infinite gold loop hack), or ordering a cake from the waitress on the eastern town...just the same conversation and action triggers again as if it was the first time
