how do you complete the quests? i got the three blobs thing but nothing happens when i tried pressing on them in my inventory and like theres no button or anything to complete the quests (meta quest 2)

yo bro, I figured it out!
on the left side of the quest's chick building there are 4 square holes, aim your sucky sucky gun at and shoot, instead of sucking the gun will ejaculate the blobs into the square hole.

I'm pretty dumb and this game took me forever to figure out, here's some of the things that I think need explained better:
1. To complete quests you need to put the resources into the hub, you do this with the Vortex gun thing on the left side of the hub.
2. You do not need the furnace to make ingots (obvious since you have to have ingots to craft the furnace), just select the recipe in your inventory and use the workbench/pad thing attached to the front of the hub. You have to shoot it with the vortex gun to craft it.
3. To set up the furnace or the big ass tower crafter to craft you need to select the recipe you want to craft from your inventory, then use the configure mode of the build/delete/config gun (located on your right hip) on the furnace/etc. This assigns the recipe to the furnace/etc.
4. The Build part of the build gun is for conveyor belts. Just select the output/input of a machine/hub and direct it where you need it to go.
5. Full automation is locked behind the moonrain ingot quest (I think the order was roughly iron -> gears -> copper -> wire -> circuit board -> moonrain so it's not that far into the game) , the reward of which is what allows for auto capture of the cubes, until then you will be manually chasing down cubes.
6. Once you have unlocked the Room/Shower/Dungeon Module you can access it by going through the portal and taking the elevator.
I'm sure there is more that I cannot remember as it has been a bit since I played. I also didn't even come close to finishing it. This is an interesting project that I hope gets some more gameplay tweaks as it is a bit rough at the moment, but still fun nonetheless.

Bizarre game but unlike every other VR game on here it had a fun gameplay loop between scenes, looking forward to seeing where it goes.

I don't think I can bring myself to actually play this having played factorio and satisfactory. It's just such a massive downgrade it hurts to even try.

i hadn't played that game
so anyway how do you play?
i managed to put an oven i think or big tower but after that noting happens. cant farm more resources and is just an open empty place without any interactive objects

Check the floor. Some patches of the floor are mineable resources.
Also, you can disassemble what you've built. I think I ended up juggling my buildings, disassembling one to make another, until I got enough iron for both.
It has been transferred to the main post, where you can download it from host you're used to.
( Prototype v2022-10-20 ) So there hasn't been any sort of update for those that don't have a VR Headset at all since 2022? That's really unfortunate. Also where's the character creation at? Cause that sort of thing should be available are the start of the game, assuming it's even in the game when it's not shown in the screenshots at all. Without the customization, it's literally Satisfactory but extremely underdeveloped.

The Gofile link on this very page is the desktop version from a week or so ago, so there has been recent progress... desktop is still clearly an afterthought to the VR game though.
Character creation is not for the player - there's a lab room where you can customize the different girls breast size, hair color, skin tone and a few other things.
And for anyone who wants to skip past poor-mans Satisfactory, there's an "Unlock All" toggle in the settings.
When I downloaded that link and tried to play all it shows is a room with a sign saying calibrate on it with some M+KB controls on the top left corner that don't work.
I saw that this got updated to 3.6 but isn't 3.7 already out?
