HTML - Emilie Finds a Way [v1.0 Alpha] [Allworks]

the story and narrative is so fresh and exciting. The way Emilie is characterized is rarely seen in porn games/kinetic novel. This definitely became one of my favorite novels in here. Cannot wait for new updates.

This game is absolutely awful and boring as all hell:
- The writing is terrible due to the dev not having a strong grasp of English.
- The MC is a total "perfect" Mary Sue (though brainless af), and had no personality.
- All of the 'forbidden' aspects of it lose all their allure because there are no potential consequences to undertaking them.

I'm sure there's more but I was bored witless within a very short amount of time. Hard to believe this was on Patreon - what were they paying for? Jesus...

Really beautiful, very exciting, difficult to find defects, maybe much more of a novel than a game, but still very intriguing from start to finish. I can't wait for a new update to arrive. Thanks a lot Allworks!

I really wanted to rate this higher because the visual style has a lot of cohesion, unlike similar games. But yeah, the lack of a plot really hurts. And the writing is going off the rails. It's written like the narrator is absolutely high as a kite on life. "She slipped out of her bed after the best sleep of her life, stretched like a gorgeous statue, marveled in her beauty and the sun of the most perfect morning in history streaming through the window of her incredible apartment. Her phone rang as sweet as the most beautiful bird, and it was her best friend ever, the best and most beautiful friend anyone ever had, and she smiled a gorgeous smile as she answered and said in the most lovely voice, "Hi."" I'm not even exaggerating; it would take work to go as big as the writer(s). It's a cross of the "breasting boobily" meme with with Donald Trump.

Reading the reviews before I read this kinetic novel (that's what it is, it isn't a game), some said that the sex was hot and the visuals were good, but that there was too much sex. But after reading it a bit, my thinking was, "The sex here is very hot, how can there be too much of it?"

After finishing what has been presented so far, I'm afraid I agree: The sex is smoking hot, but there is too much of it. Or rather, there isn't enough exposition in between the sexy times. So rather than being shown through plot or description that the characters have certain attributes, we are rather quickly told that they do, and then sexy times commence. Unfortunately, the characters are very underdeveloped, and it is hard to care about them in any meaningful way. So since this is a kinetic novel, having 1 dimensional characters is a problem.

All of that said, the sex is plentiful and intense. I also appreciate the story of a woman having lots of sex because she wants to. Too many games that deal with a woman having copious amounts of sex with different people have their plot revolve around the woman being coerced. While this can also be erotic if done well, it usually isn't. It is a breath of fresh air to see a new perspective.

So, onto a quick rundown of the game:

Story: There isn't much. It is a bare bones skeleton to hang the sex on. It does that well enough, and fleshing out the story some more would substantially improve the game.

Originality: Nice to see a woman independently decide to have lots of kinky, hot sex.

Visuals: The visuals are very well chosen. They are much better than the average HTML game.

No sound whatsoever. No playability issues; it's a standard Twine HTML game.

Grammar is poor, but easily understandable. The writer is Francophone, so if you know a bit of French, you can tell that some of the translations are word for word French to English.

There is about 2.5 hours of content if you read everything. And you should if you're interested enough to download and continue after the first few screens. Most of it is sex, and the sex is very well done other than grammar.

Overall, I give it 3.5 stars, mostly based off of how arousing it was. I'll round it up to 4 because of the paucity of Fem Protag games without a coercive plot device. Recommended if you're interested in reading an extremely spicy recounting of a woman's sexual exploits accompanied by well chosen visuals, and are willing to deal with relatively poor but still understandable grammar. Otherwise the juice is probably not worth the squeeze.

An intriguing blend of sensuality and storytelling. The well-crafted plot keeps you engaged, though some minor editing would enhance the experience. Fortunately, all links function smoothly, without any errors. A commendable effort that delivers a satisfying read!

I can't believe I am saying this but the only "Con" this game has is that it contains too much sex. Otherwise this would be a 5/5 game if you look at story and characters.

Maybe if the story was more diverse and we could see more interaction with people other than FIL and husband, that would really make this a better game.

The game seems to be in a fairly early stage of development, but what is here so far is quality stuff. First few updates focus on the MC cheating on her fiancé with his friend and with his dad.

As the game has been labeled as a kinetic novel there are few choices to the story. The ones so far have dictated sex positions and how quickly the MC falls into corruption.

The writing seems competent. There are no major grammar or spelling mistakes. Don't expect to be blown away by literature that will stick with you for years.

Image choice is wonderful. The scenes are for the most part ripped form modern, high res, professional shoots. Real eye-candy that's miles ahead of uncanny 3dcg.

Total length of the game is probably sub 1 hour right now. Not enough to entertain me for a full evening, but at least it doesn't pad itself out with pointless grind and rng procs.

Overall, the game's mission statement appeals to me. I like seeing stories about girls who just want to be slutty and act on that desire. Cheating because she's insatiable rather than because she wants to humiliate a man.

As I type this out the game sits at 3 stars and a weighted rating that groups it with a bunch of abandoned shovelware. It deserves a higher spot.

The images and gifs/videos are gorgeous, I'll give you that. They're really hot and a few steps above most text-based games that uses real porn. They aren't just about sex, they're also incredibly sensual and there's always a bit of a build up.

But images and gifs aren't what makes a game, the game itself is disappointing. The game itself say that it does put our main female protagonist in the same position as male protagonists in these types of adult games but... also not really? They certainly delivered on the promise of Emilie not feeling any guilt but there's no choice, only the illusion of one.

I'm the kind of person who plays games several times to try out different things and well, it's nearly pointless here. You don't really have a choice when stranded on the island, you will cheat whether you want it or not. Which is quite frankly annoying, it doesn't even matter if I'd have do so anyway if I had the choice. The point is that I didn't have one, these types of games are all about the choices of the player but that hardly seems to matter most of the time.

After the island, it's the father-in-law. Now here, you can choose "not to cheat"... Well, as in there is no penetration, your character still goes through everything else but penetration even if you pick every opposite choice. That's still cheating, lady. By the way, all of this content is not nearly enough for slightly over 2GB, what the hell?

The game really needs some pretty heavy rework, a faithful path with some more content and a cheating path with available sub-paths for each character the player may be interested in pursuing.

- the story is pretty stupid, even for porn games standards
- characters are pretty dumb (experienced or not, that mushroom screams "poison", they should have died there)
- this is a kinetic novel, no choices whatsoever (other than position in one sex scene)
- content is lacking
- stupidly large file size, it should be 1/10 of that with this amount of content

Overall an extremely boring experience, it would be easier to fap to a romantic text novel.

Really good VN style game. Story is really good, and the characters are great.
It's obvious that it's what the author is going for, but there is pretty much no choices to be made here.
Pretty excited to see where this goes, just hope there's some choices at some point.

Emilie finds a way is a female MC who fits an interesting niche for porn games.

She isn't an idiot, she isn't an "innocent" character who you corrupt, she isn't really anything other than a normal person with a high sex drive.

It's nice to see games evolve into new niches and "woman that isn't a fetish object" is a new niche nobody is making games for at the moment so for that alone I hope this project gets legs and succeeds just so we have more variety in games.

If this isn't your cup of tea don't play it lmao. Not everything is for everyone.

TL;DR = This is a game focused on cheating, where female MC desires to have a lot of sex. Sadly low amount of content at this point of development.

+ Story goes like this: there is this completely normal girl, but one day she shipwrecked on the deserted island together with some random male. She and that dude have nothing better to do than to have sex all day long every single day. In few days they get rescued by some ship, but it is already too late for her. She has somehow turned into hypersexualised slut.
When she is back with her husband do you think she will do right thing and tell him that she craves kinky sex?? Nope! She will only perform boring vanilla sex with him. And guess what? She will get sexually frustrated from that. And thats why she will start cheating on him.
- Unfortunately story isnt very deep. It is just a cheap excuse for porn.

Art and Sex content: 4/5

+ Pictures and animations are usually hot.
- Unfortunately game is really early in development and there is only low amount of content.

- ATM this is Kinetic Novel. You just follow "plot" and there are no choices.
+ So far there is only one decision, where you can decide what sex position you want to see. It has no impact on the game.
- I hope there will some choices in future updates. Players should be able to decide whether MC should cheat or not. - English isnt perfect, but it is readable. (Proofreader would be a good idea).
- There is no sound.
- There is low amount of content. I finished game in 7 minutes. This is really short game.

To sum it up:
This game is really early in development. Current content deserves only 1/5 score, but if you want game that is focused on cheating than this will get 3/5 due to potential.
At this point this is not worth playing. Check this game later after few updates.

The amount of content ingame is bigger now. It has about 1 hour of content. I am raising the rating by 1 star to 4/5.
