TLDR: I'm trying to start a discussion about games interacting with real life vibrators.
Basis
Many gamepads come with a "rumble" aka vibration feature. There are game engines that allow the game to trigger the vibration such as Godot, Unity, and Unreal Engine.
Proposal
What if games used that functionality to trigger a vibrator in real life? Alternatively, what if someone wrote an API for game makers to use that controls a vibrator?
Motivation
I feel that starting "small" with a vibrator could open the door for more advanced sex toy integration in the future--if people are interested of course. I personally would like this added to games.
Considerations
Here's documentation on how to implement the gamepad vibration in the respective engines for anyone interested in experimenting:
What do you think? Do you think it's dumb? Do you want it? Are you just here because you're bored?

Considerations
- I think the cost barrier should be low to allow as many people as possible to use this, and thus give motivation for game devs to even bother with it.
- If using a gamepad, we can relocate the vibration motor(s) in the gamepad into a 3D-printed vibrator. Alternatively, it may be possible to disconnect the gamepad's internal motors and wire them up to an actual sex vibrator. Either way, this approach requires some hardware hacking. However, if tutorials were made, it could be accessible to a lot of people who have little or no knowledge of electronics (with an "at your own risk" disclosure of course).
- Another more involved option would require someone to write an interface that provides an API to game devs but can also control a sex vibrator. I know there are vibrators that can be controlled via mobile apps, but i'm personally unaware of any that can be controlled by a computer application. I'm sure there's a way to hack a wired sex vibrator to be controlled via USB, but again it would still need someone to develop the interface so that anyone could use it.
- I don't know if anyone would even be interested in this, but if someone wanted to initiate it, i kindly ask that it be created using a language for any platform (no C# or .NET) and that it be open source please.
