First Intro
​

Hello guys. I'm trying out at making my first game after getting RPG Maker MV on a sale. This project is still in its beginning stages so there isn't much content yet in terms of story and gameplay. However, some of the key game systems have been created and I wish to share them. The setting will be dark fantasy. Please be kind as I'm still figuring out the process of game development (also quite unsure of how dev threads are structured). And RPG Maker is kind of harder than I thought. Drawing all the art is also kind of crazy. I hope to be able to be better.

Rough Plot
A struggling adventurer, Talia, got imprisoned for a crime she did not commit. In the gaols, she becomes a new plaything for cruel interrogators, who use unspeakable methods to force out information she doesn't have. Survive the gaols and fight your way to escape from conspiracies.



Rough Gameplay
Standard JRPG combat. No party system for now; Talia will be the sole member (might add temporary party members in the future). No random encounters, only visible troops on field. Hopefully a more open world (after gaolbreak ofc)



Rough Erotic Systems
-Outfit breakage (negligible stat change)
-Horny gauge
-Sexual CGs (non-animated but have differences)
-Pubic /armpit hair growth (shaveable)
-Maybe mix in a bit of erotic combat somehow
-Body stats

Be careful of the feature creep focus on making a functional and expendable game before adding random features in.

Btw your game seems to go in the direction of "lose -> lewd reward", I'm not a big fan of having to lose on purpose personally ^^ so try making some "win -> lewd reward" as well.

Haha the features were me exploring what I could do with RPG Maker, and I got lost in its possibilities (especially due to picture layering).

I'll keep the direction of "lewd reward" in mind.

-Outfits in the GIF are set to break after 1 battle, but in actual gameplay would take a few more battles before breaking.

Just making conversation but these two statements made me wonder the tone of the series and the why of 'Horny gauge', is there a plot like "They used many kinds of drugs/magics or her that left lasting effects of incontrollable lust" or something the like going on? Just asking because there are many porn games that aim in a dark setting but underestimate the psychological effect that rape has. Of course there are works were the dark element comes with the comical satire of an absurd scenario too, like the normalization of such actions.

Are there any planed fetishes/tags or a central one the work revolves into? This can help with pitching ideas.
I already like the hair growth concept.

Open worlds is cool. Any game you are aiming to attain a similar play? I personally think an import aspect to Open world games is the care with scenario and NPCs interability, like being able to loot unlocked drawers in houses, steal things. If you are open to suggestions, Katalist for me did such a good implementation of thts that it was one of the main appeals of the game to me. Mainly the girls dorm's interactions.
But i do reckon it's a hard thing to do because of the workload, mainly for a solo dev.

Yep. Good point on the pschological effect part, I can try to tie it into the story.

Are there any planed fetishes/tags or a central one the work revolves into?

I aim for the fetishes/tags to be NC/Ryona/Bondage/Domination, but I'm unsure on whether to make them brutal or tame. More vanilla ones will be available outside the gaol.

I guess it will be more of an sandboxy open field, with less linear gameplay, and more freedom to explore areas in any order. Maybe something similar to LonaRPG but without the world map.

But i do reckon it's a hard thing to do because of the workload, mainly for a solo dev.

-Battles and dirty environments accumulate dirt

-Dynamic states of 3 types of body hair (shaveable): pubic, perianal, and armpits

-Hair growth rate affected by time, and healing spells

-Both types of states affect CGs and portrait, affect NPC dialogue depending on context

-Depending on state, NPCs might have more actions
