Hello folks, i've been working on a 2d game on rpg maker mv for some time, unfortunately my options are limited to create better animations and most other things which speaks for a good 2D game.

What exactly are you looking for? Your post and heading is a bit misleading. Are you looking for another engine to work with? or are you looking for advice?
Well it depends on the type of game you want to make. RPG Maker is a really powerful tool, wich if used correctly can make really good games (not necessarily RPGs), so I'd recommend you to investigate a bit more about scripting or eventing so you can achieve what you want.
