Hey everyone, just checking some info about this game since I'm planning on getting all the sequel games.
Why is this game not listed on the site? The OP is very explicit about sharing the game or links to it here on F95. Was it struck by R7?

I can't give you a definitive answer, but I'd say in general that's usually a pretty good guess.

I actually didn't realize it was blacklisted. I could swear that I had downloaded it from here back when I first played, but it's possible I'm misremembering, or equally possible that whims changed since then.

Whoever reviewed it presumably personally drew the line at Uula(The green haired girl) for R7. There's a scene later on where a character is de-aged to a non-specified age that people have speculated was the cause but it's way later in the game so I doubt they would've seen it when the game was under review.

Came across this game (and the series which ill be continuing after just now finishing this one) after finding and playing L-depth (cant remember how i found L-depth). But HOLY CRAP WHAT A GREAT GAME. Shame how its practically banned here. The combat, story and characters were just so GODAMN fun and interesting, came for the L-depth art styled wank, stayed for everything else. INSANE. The order of the leaf geometry games that should be played in after this one.. is sequel awake next? as smarrel noja says on his sub-par translations site? 1 SEQUEL blight, 2 SEQUEL awake, 3 SEQUEL colony, 4 SEQUEL kludge? What other leaf geometry games is worth checking out and the recommended order?

SEQUEL Blight
SEQUEL Awake
SEQUEL Colony
ASYLUM (Spin-off)
SEQUEL Kludge
L.Depth (Spin-off)
Innocent Rules (Spin-off)
SEQUEL Thirst (translation in-progress by someone else)

This the order of games. I warn in advance that ASYLUM has what a lot of people consider to be the most annoying map to traverse in the series...

There's also older games before Blight that aren't relevant to SEQUEL story wise but are pretty much the lore of the verse and are referenced several times throughout the games, which are known as Era of Myth in-game:
Atline
Ghost Path
Erra Saga
Ruinswald (untranslated)
Silver Tower
Ghost Path 2 (untranslated)
Liberty Step

Again, these are older games and the first ones made by Leaf Geometry so I'd only recommend playing these if you wanna understand references and wanna learn more about lore since they aren't necessarilly good games.

Some of the era of myth games are translated. There's a list . They are not porn games though if that's a deal breaker for you, and they take place so far in the past compared to the sequel games, they almost don't matter (there are 9 million references to them in the sequel games though).

I started them with low expectations but I was honestly pleasantly surprised. I believe if you enjoy the other games' humor and gameplay you'll find them quite decent from the first one. Then again, I'm usually more patient with old RPGs than most people I know.

Only bad part is that the translations sadly aren't as polished as the subpar ones so you might find untranslated text here and there (but the important parts are usually fine) and you want to save often since you never know when you might trigger a crash (this is specially bad in Errasaga).

I liked them too but I don't expect people to put up with random encounters, game over sending you to your last save state (fucked up for people that don't save often especially since some bosses have no warning) or in Ghost Paths case having to travel that whole map on foot for 80% of the game and curse hunting without a guide.
