Overview:
Matthew Hamilton is a young butler in 1892 England. He has chosen the same profession as his father, but has no enthusiasm for service and has been fired several times. The Butlers Association treats him as a nuisance and is about to erase his name from the books. Fortunately, he has been given one last chance: to work for free in a crumbling noble house. Indeed, this house has many problems: the maids are lazy because they don't get paid, the house itself is in disrepair, and the mistress is not of the best character.

I guess almost no one is interested in Ooyari Ashito's art. Considering that I'm going to drop the other game by this developer that I was planning to translate. To be fair, it's too much effort if only me and a few rare people are going to enjoy it. And I won't be releasing pure MTLs of the games I enjoyed any time soon.

I really dont get why these aren't more popular, the art style is beautiful, and the story telling is great imo, I loved Romanesque. Its honestly pure luck that I stumbled to this post looking any updates for the translation of another of their entries. Sad to hear you are dropping but I can understand it, just really dont know why its not as popular

Thank you Thank you Thank you so much for taking the chance to translate one of little witches works I love Ooyari Ashitos older art style it has cute watercolor style that's super unique, I was first exposed to his art style in Little Witch Romanesque which blew me away with how beautiful it was. I hope you don't lose hope in eventually translating any other Little Witch works!!

Just found out this translation had been done. Want to say thank you so much for doing this. Been a fan of this developer and artist ever since JAST did the English release of Girlish Grimoire Littlewitch Romanesque about a decade ago. So glad another title from this developer has been translated.

This is actually upsetting, Ooyari Ashito is one of the best artists this medium has to offer. I have a hard time imagining anyone looking at his works and thinking anything except 'wow, this looks really gorgeous'.



As for why he isn't popular, I'm guessing many people here just never had a chance to see his art before. From his VNDB page, he hasn't worked on any new VN projects since 2012!

Anyhow, I'm definitely going to play this one. Thanks for the translation!

This somehow slipped under my radar. I love Littlewitch's novels, so I really appreciate this!

For what it's worth, you could also post about your patch to vndb and the /vn/ general on 4chan's /vg/ board. Visual novels aren't popular, much less ones that are in this vein, but those of us who enjoy the medium are very thankful for the time and effort spent on translating them. So many gems from the 2000s that have yet to be revealed to the rest of the world.
