Both RPG side games were bad, even worse than his old free games. You kinda hope that a guy with that much experience and playtesters can see the drop in quality but it happened twice so I have zero interest in the new spin-off.

I wouldn't say they're bad, just experimental and different. ASYLUM was actually pretty interesting and I really liked the exploration part of it, it's the best of the series in that regard. IR was ok but didn't really stand out much except for the scenes. The story is pretty bad though, should've connected way more to the ASYLUM story. I don't get the point of giving Ino his own game if it's not gonna focus on that storyline.
I should've made myself clear, I'm only criticizing the RPG aspects here, while Asylum "open world" is a scam like most of that genre I hate the RPG aspects more than that, way too simple and unpolished same as Innocent Rules. I expect someone with that level of experience to produce better systems than THAT.
Asylum is a bare-bones RPG with boring skill trees and the worst companions possible, the extra dungeon is grindy and boring as fuck.
Innocent Rules is a bit more polished than Asylum but not even at his old free games level, the grind is insane and kills the variety it gives you since playing without cheating money means you have to choose three companions and stick with them for the rest of the game, their equipment is just as bad since the natural skills are better almost always.
I could believe those two games were made by a rookie and praise them for their effort, not by a guy with like 10 games under his belt.

Really sucks considering Awake had great character and Colony had a fantastic story. Kludge was aight but I really hope hakika finds that original hungry formula with Thirst
yo if the base game is done being translated can u release the files for it ? lowkey itching to play Thirst for a long time now

Hm, I wonder if Malice will be a recurring character in the spin-off verse games.
It'd be a very Malice thing to do to screw this game's MC.

I actually hope so considering she is a "Devil" or a "Wishing Devil" after all and this spin off it seems will be all about Angels and Devils.

For what i read the new game is not a spinoff, just share some concepts, but aside that is new, atleast for now, lets see if it becomes a spinoff, or it stay as an game that share concepts

really interesting how we're getting a story focused on the gods after they've been explicitly showing them returning for the (implied) impending end of the world in Kludge, wonder how long before the main plot this takes place
As I recall, L.Depth had a couple of scenes with both sisters going at MC at the same time (like dual-footjob etc.), plus there was this whole ambiguity of MC's relation to them, so it kind-of-somewhat-maybe counts as incest, I guess?..

And if you're talking about Idea she was mentioned as far back as Colony, technically never even "left" because the world of Liberty Step is now Bottomless Gramtoa where she originally came from, fantasy gods like her have nothing to do with heaven either way

no, i meant more along the lines of the description of the angel enemies on the Ark, whose's presence make more sense when you know the entire Ark plan and everything in the land of machines was part of Idea's plan.
