OK, file this under 'other project ideas'. This post is mainly for record-keeping purposes.
I have an idea for a game. It's a cross between a boardgame and a reality tv show that features lots of progressively depraved sexy fun time as the episodes/game days progress.
Players would form a team, formed around an 'archetype' (Dad, Brother, Mom, Boss, Uncle, etc.). Each archtype would then pick four other team members (Daughters, sons, wife maybe, secretaries/underlings, slutty friends, you get the idea). Team members might be sexually experienced or have V-cards. Points are earned at the end of each day based on what each team member did that day, which is then 'voted' on by the audience.
Each team leader has a pool of influence points, which are used to 'convince' other team members to do things. At the end of each day, team members (including the team leader) earn skill points based on whatever they did that day. Note that after day 1, activities will cost less influence points based on how far 'behind' your team is. Members on lower ranked teams become more desperate, and are more willing to push their 'personal envelopes' to help their team get back on top...
The grand prize for this 'game' is some ridiculous amount (say 1 Million game dollars, split between team members), with lesser amounts awarded to the other teams based on final rank.
There's a bunch of other details here, but essentially the game starts out pretty tame (flashing, flirting, etc.) on the first day, but by the final day yeah there'll be orgies, etc...
Implementation:
This is the tricky part. This would be the most fun if an 'online multiplayer' version could be made, but I have no such skills. So as a single player game, you'd have multiple computer-controlled teams (essentially whose actions would be determined randomly in some fashion with not quite an AI, but through 'charts').
As for the team building aspect, this could be the most fun.
Examples.
the 'DMD style' team
- Dad (team leader), Daughter, two Slutty Friends, Secretary from work
The 'Horny brother' team
- Brother (team leader), two Sisters, Mom, best friend (think Big Brother or Dreams of Desire for the cast)
The 'Office' team
- Boss (team leader), Personal Assistant, Slutty Secretary, Sister, Male Coworker.
The 'Uncle' team
- Uncle (team leader), Niece, Slutty Friend, Personal Assistant, Male Coworker
You get the idea.
There'd also be 'bonus' activities for each day, chosen by the 'tv audience', that could earn bonus influence points for teams that engage in them that day...
Because this'd have a BUNCH of choices for characters (dozens) to build teams with (or even if you had 'pre-built' teams to choose from), yeah you'd either 'economize' on renders, just showing the 'climax' renders for each team member's activity for the day, or you'd have to generate a LOT of renders. You could also limit the number of teams involved, but where's the fun in that?
Anyways, just something that came to me as I was sleeping. Game mechanics on this would be a bit of a pain to set up, but it'd be fun watching the 'results' of each day's choices by the various teams. I'm scrawling down a bunch more notes about this, but just wanted to add this to my 'to do eventually project list'...
I may play around with this at some point, but this would likely need to be a 'team effort' of sorts, especially if there was to be a multiplayer implementation of some sort. Maybe someday...
