God, this game is grindy.
Its a nice enough darkest dungeons clone adding sexy classes and outfit customisation to the mix. However, the mechanics make it mind numbingly repetitive:
You have to level up every class to rank 4 for a permanent bonus in that class. There is no xp system, but "goals" which are randomised from a pool of options, many of which require multiple dungeons to complete and you will need to complete up to 6 of these goals for the final rank alone.
So you're looking at some ~25 dungeons per character, for a roster of 20-40 characters
BUT, by taking damage you will regularly be force equipped with cursed items that 1) change your class 2) cant be unequipped until you have leveled up that class to 2nd highest rank.
True to the theme, a lot of these cursed classes are passive/submissive tank types so, you guessed it, they will be standing around in the frontline. Taking damage, getting stripped, getting equipped with yet more cursed items, changing their class again, restarting the cycle, usually just when they started to be useful.
This saddles you with mostly useless characters (80% cows for some reason) that you rotate in and out of dungeons together with some regular folks. There is some itemisation to make your other characters carry the cows & co...
BUT, about 75% of the time the items you find in dungeons or as rewards are ALSO cursed, forcing you to run several dungeons to de-curse them, after which you just throw em in the trash (they dont de-curse into anything useful, you're just allowed to unequip them) and run a bunch more dungeons just to find something you actually CAN use.
In the process of this you can of course expect half your team to be stripped and turned into cows that you have to grind into usefulness again.
You almost never feel like you're progressing, it just feels like you're fixing stuff to be *able* to progress until you realise that's the whole gameplay loop
It's plainly a chore, and the art is way too basic to make up for it
