to help with it was a bit of a "wtf" moment, for me haha. Makes it seem like they'd rather bend over backwards to try to make something awkward work than just you know, fix the main problem.

If it works out, then I don't really mind how they get there.
If it doesn't, I trust the dev to not keep a mechanic nobody likes.
If they don't, well that's why I stopped playing unfinished games, lmao.

Both of the finished games are pretty good, so I'm assuming it's just a case of throwing things at the wall to see what sticks.

How do you deal with the orcs that have a free heal+regen? They're in the novice dungeons, but my entire party doesn't have enough damage to deal with them

1: Overwhelming violence is easiest. Alchemist can get tremendous single target damage with their right tree that lets them start a fight with Strength and Crit. Combined with Musket Shot, they can one shot a lot of mid tier mobs right away. Paladins with Prayer stacks to Divine Smite are another early option, but they require some build up. On the upside, you won't have to worry about dealing with the Blinded status with Pallies, and they can do their shit from level 1.

2: Next is stacking DoTs, your Cleric with Bane to make them vulnerable to debuffs helps with that (It's pretty essential, you don't want to have inconsistent DoT debuffs against enemies that heal that much). Nobles bleed on counters, so they're a bit safer than using Rogues for bleed stacks. Mages are of course the other early game DoT kings, and most classes have a DoT skill somewhere in their tree if you want to go that route.

3: Stunlock with Warriors (Trip) and/or use Mark Target on them to remove their regen.

4: Some combination of all of the above.

Off the top of my head, I don't know a class that can silence enemies, but I'm sure that exists somewhere and would reduce their healing spell that isn't from regen. Orcs are the first roadblock in the game if you don't have a party for them, so be prepared to retreat and rethink your party or level them up more if you want to be able to deal with them.

If you can't deal with an enemy yet, just go around them or run away. You can also turn on anti-male censor for orcs specifically, lmao.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think maids can clear the HoT tokens that are generated by the ork's healing action. I generally deal with them by stacking DoTs via rogue/noble and mage, although that's probably not ideal, considering it always takes me a long time to take down orks.

You'll get a lot of ways to stack damage later, but right out of the gate without any skillpoints paladins can do a lot of burst damage and rangers can apply weakness. That combo can chunk orcs pretty easily.

What do you mean "isn't unlocked"? Don't you just have to physically get to the boss tile?

At that point just edit the saves. They are plaintext.

This is actually incredible.... Learning to understand whats happening is kind of complicated but it makes automating blanket changes pretty easy....

In Notepad++ you can do a find and replace:

you'll have to do a second set for WIS because it doesn't have the , at the end of the code which is important when coding.

and just change the base stats for all current characters to 30. This cuts down the grind time a ton but still doesn't make it so you can just walk through things.. you could up it higher to make it easier.

You already got some good advice (like maids simply clearing the regen) but with only novices and probably no cursed classes yet Id say have a Ranger put Vulnerability on the orc.
And so that Im not only repeating stuff on top of that you make sure you go for "Crown of..." dungeon rewards. These items set the corresponding stat to 18 when worn. This is a big boost for damage dealers which should help in the orc's case.

I mean use the regex above for changing character stats to something stupid like 100 then power through most early content getting all the buildings done then get enough destiny points to do newgame+ then reset. I didn't see anything off hand for modifying destiny points in the profile save files.

The game calculates points based of the settings.txt global completed quests. Here are some of mine.

Personalities make traits either disappear faster, slower, or stay permanent. Plus they determine possible options for curios.

Crests are a whole separate thing. They provide a certain bonus and a drawback, while a mantra allows you to basically pick one crest that you want to max out and keep.

Crest effects are fully explained in encyclopedia.

1. An "import error" item which shouldn't be in the catalog.
2. A "debug item" which shouldn't be in the catalog.
3. Broken Glasses, which are repaired at the end of a dungeon and thus can't be added to the catalog.
4. The loser suit, counterpart of the winner suit, obtained from the All or Nothing item.

1-3 will be fixed in the next update. Thanks for sniffing them out.

Aside from save editing, no. The whole point of All or Nothing is that you gamble your character. You can still kinda use them as job filler though.

Can somebody mode this into the game please:
once the full team is stablished, players can add two extra characters in a tow for passive effects such as moral boost, increasing inventory maximum capacity, max damage or health boost..., and this is separate from the kits on the active members of the team.
