I worry that itch would follow suit if some zealot be inclined. Several games on there with young looking characters got deleted or censored. Hell I'm surprised the Patreon page lasted so long since they're normally way more trigger happy with banning people.

Itch/Patreon accepts Paypal. JAST works with UnionPay.
Every other option is Credit Card.

Patreon has been he biggest worry for a long time which is why subscribestar has lower price for sub, to push users to it in case patreon pulled the plug.
Itch is is fairly safe and low risk. But worst case JAST actually approached Mado, so there is next to no chance of them shutting it down.

That happens with Windows Defender sometimes, it will flag files it hasn't seen before until enough people use it to trust it. You can pay $500 and undergo a lengthy process to prevent that, but that won't work for H-games.

The message you got was probably wacatac.H!ml, which is a heuristic (H) by the AI (machine learning, ml) of windows defender. If you've downloaded the file from here, it's safe, the mods test files before they upload them here. If you want to be 200% sure, upload it to virustotal.

The game is actually a lot more forgiving than Darkest Dungeon (no permadeath, high level characters can do low level dungeons).

i just find that werid as i can find a shit ton of loli games on steam and i can find one in school clothing

It's unusual for people to see the old concept of selling, in the style of - paid\free part. Valve and other companies are too hooked on the illusion of free by introducing "compendiums".

I swear to God, every time I hear that a game is planning a Steam release it's just a worrying sign that the content will bend over backward to appease Steam policies.
I don't know why everyone wants the games to release on Steam so their friend list can see what kind of degenerate hobbies they engage in.
I get it that you can use a separate NSFW account, I do that myself. But I just think non-Steam games are better from a content perspective than Steam titles.

EDIT: I just realized that Steam might've rejected this game because of its art style and not because of non-con themes. Just wanted to clarify as a disclaimer that I was ranting about non-con or BDSM themes, not visual aesthetics.
