they have a higher stat total (str, dex int wis and what have you)View attachment 4310711
Does anyone know what does it mean when a recruit is green? I know the gold ones are unique characters but I have no idea what's special about the green ones that show up once in a while. I might just be blind but I don't see anything special on them.
According to theVery much enjoy the gameplay of the game. It's listed as "Finished" but does it still get updates?
Also, does anyone know if there's any mods out there for the game for better character models+animations? It does lack a bit in that department.
All in all a good game though!
"Every single time"?Man I wish class change was not so bloody expensive. I can understand teaching someone a class for the first time would have a big cost. But after that it feels a little silly to pay to change class they already technically know. The 50 mana cost every single time makes me completely uninterested in mastering every class, especially with how small the permanent bonuses are.
Well obviously no but I don't have a lot of fully trained elite clerics for example. That's a huge hit to my power if I change her. Should I get into a very bad situation where I need her to be a cleric again it will cost me a small fortune to switch back and forth. I mean I get what you try to say but my alternative is that I don't change classes unless I have other trained alternatives. Like it's not the end of the world but I think it makes some weird extra complications. Like at the very least it should be much cheaper if you return to a class."Every single time"?
Do you just have 4 girls that you swap classes on?
I just don't get how you end up in this situation, since I believe it takes just as much effort to level a second class as it would to hire a completely new girl and level her instead. And for clerics specifically, do you actually need anything more than 3 skill points for Group Heal and Bless? Levels don't actually matter that much IMO.Well obviously no but I don't have a lot of fully trained elite clerics for example. That's a huge hit to my power if I change her. Well this is more about the permanent bonuses, the stats you can get. Once you master a class you can change and work on another to make her get even stronger from the permanent bonuses. It's a pain if you want to go back temporarily for some reason. Cleric was just a random example, I went with that since a healer role is harder to replace then dps.I just don't get how you end up in this situation, since I believe it takes just as much effort to level a second class as it would to hire a completely new girl and level her instead. I always assumed you lose any bonuses if you switch from that class? If the meta is to multiclass into everything for stat boosts, I might just jump off a cliff.Well this is more about the permanent bonuses, the stats you can get. By levels do you mean learning all skills? I mean that depends on how you want to use the Cleric. But that's not why you master a class, it's for the permanent bonuses you can get at the end. Cleric might not really need stats for healing better but improved survivability is useful for anyone, especially resisting effects which is more significant with harder enemies.
EDIT: I am been dumb. I forgot wisdom improves healing. Yeah Clerics needs stats just as much.
Each class has one stat upgrade that is marked as permanent. It's really not that much, generally it's +1 stat and some health. Additionally each cursed class also have an extra perma upgrade that makes enemies unable to forcefully equip you with cursed equipment of that particular class.I always assumed you lose any bonuses if you switch from that class? The game plays very similarly to Darkest Dungeon, but it's a good bit less punishing. A key part of the game is to put together a decent party. For the beginning, having a warrior, cleric, rogue and mage is pretty decent. What is the principle of that game ?
Yeah, it takes a while to know which enemies can easily be taken on.It looks nice and fun, but in fact it's tremendously difficult
I continously loose characters, captured by easy dungeon creatures who look dooable as the others, but are in fact monstruous bosses (the slimes, the sorpions, some ratwomen....).
That can happen, true. In the worst case if you don't manage to break the curse, you can build the church and destroy cursed equipment there. Or just dismiss a character if you haven't invested many resources in them. And the curses makes my characters useless.
Buy more upgrades for the coach. One of its upgrade tracks lets you recruit new characters with higher base stats, which can make a tremendous difference. I usually focus almost exclusively on coach upgrades when I start a new game, and don't even recruit much except for my initial party until I maxed out the coach.More, you can't recruit good warriors, only weak ones.
It might feel hard in the beginning, but once you get one good combo you can just turn your brain off. What is the principle of that game ?

It's almost like this is a proper video game or something. It might feel hard in the beginning, but once you get one good combo you can just turn your brain off.
Alchemist + Shotgun + brain parasite + parasite choker + gothic corset + enema plug + posture training = ~90 damage crits to half the enemies.
In general though, you just need to follow normal team building practices: need a good healer (clerics are the best, but you can make it work with maids/cows and some niche stuff), a tank (prisoners, warriors, ponies), a DPS (alchemists, mages, paladins, nobles), and a token remover/secondary support (maids are OP, rangers, rogues).
Most classes can do two of these jobs at once and there is usually a dedicated set of items for that (like dance-outfit prisoners are good supports while still being pretty tanky)
