i'm occasionally fucking around in the Modding Tool.
But i can't for the life of me find out how to change boob size while it's attached on a "Gene"
(Like a Gene that predetemines boobsize)

I received the following bug report, is this it:
Found a crash earlier tonight on 0.6 using the instant tooltips option. Sometimes with the "tooltips start softlocked without waiting .5 seconds" option turned on, when i went about three tooltips or more deep on the laws page or the tech tree, the game stopped responding and froze up, game had to be closed manually and progress was not saved. turned the setting off and have had no such issue for a few hours of playtime.
yep that's me. i can try to recreate it but the nature of the crash means nothing is reflected in the save file or logs(?) from what i can tell. tell me if you want a save or screenshot, I'm happy to participate

Thanks for v0.6! Here are some comments:

The building list doesn't respond to the mouse wheel like I want it to. I suspect the tooltips are absorbing the mouse wheel; AFAICT none of the building tooltips are large enough to warrant scrolling.

Ranger seems to have been dethroned due to two things:
  • damage_reduction_modifier is a lot more common now, which means that Block tokens can actually make a difference now (good). This nerfs Ranger since she relies on many weak hits (Quickshot and Suppressing Fire). Unfortunately the player benefits much less from defenses: there are so many battles that you really want to do all you can to get through them faster, which means an offensive focus. I'd prefer fewer, tougher battles, which the new minibosses do help with a bit.
  • Enemies attaching armbinders (e.g. Wood Mage) seem more common both compared to before and to other restraints, and I couldn't find a way to escape restraints in-battle, which makes Manipulation a risky stat to depend upon.
Meanwhile I've been having great success with a Lust Explosion Slave build. It's a single-stat move which means you can just pump one stat (conversely, triple-stat moves are really bad), and Bunny Suit of Lust + Caestus of Conquest can store 400 Allure. Add the Rat and Bee explosive genes and you can easily break 200 damage per target using only things available from the second island, enough to one-shot any enemy squad I've seen. There are plenty of equipments available for Lust ramping too. even the second island is enough to reach 90 within a few turns, and once you get Succubus dolls you can always be ready to go at the start of combat. Allure also mostly can't be restrained away, making it, Focus (easy bonus from Blood of Tomo), and Compliance (few moves though) the more favorable stats, with Moving / Sight / Manipulation less favorable.

It would be nice if auto-assign housing tried to make roommates of the same race -- otherwise, often one roommate doesn't have the local resources to fulfill her needs, which prevents the other roommate from upgrading.

The new numerical hotkeys for combat are great, I just have a couple suggestions:
  • Draw the numbers on the move icons so it's easy to see which is which.
  • A hotkey for "repeat last move". Or maybe some way of rearranging the order of skills.
I see the main line of strapons lost their random gene chance. It took a little getting used to, but I think I like this better. The new best way to fish for new genes is a little hidden: Mesmerizing Strapon (Bat T1), then get the Crystalline Horseplug (Eloise T4) if you Blood of Tomo'd a bit too much.

A save (using F8) would be useful. I can't seem to replicate it, just opening multiple subtooltips with the settings option enabled doesn't do anything.

The well_endowed gene looks like it does this? Though I haven't tried in-game.
unfortunately not it seems the coding behind the gene only overlays big boobs over the actual size.
i'ma try something tho...

After playing like 50 hours, I very like this game, love challanges with trading/breeding specific girls (maybe add some random trades with cool rewards like items that cannot be crafted or something like that).

Love that I can change stuff don't like with mods and translations.

I have only one big problem with this game and it is pacing... This game would be perfect if when I fighting, stuff on current island progress. Then I can start stuff like long breeding, insights which takes hours and go on some adventure to hunt for specific traits or just level up my team, maybe do some dugeons. Now the game prevent me from that because every thing will be stop and I don't want that. So fighting is something I need to do fast to not waste time and then I just sit on island doing nothing...

Is there any way to disabled that mechanic? I would be forever grateful.

IIRC the time does advance after fights and dungeons, but it's nothing compared to just setting max speed in the overworld.

Time is general is in a strange place right now. The only pressure to not playing at max speed all the time is enemy encroachment. But if the island doesn't have much open terrain, I don't find it worth developing at all -- just capture a couple of each new monstergirl type and get out. If it does have a lot of open terrain, then I'm probably clearing the whole thing for all the housing area I'm going to need, leaving just a little reservation blocked off by a couple Outposts, which will never escape no matter how fast the speed is.

I wonder what it would be like if resources were only flows and not stocks, though I'm not sure how to make dungeon pickups and item crafting work in a satisfying way then.

I like play on speed 1, and I have no problem with that. Things should take time and its fine, other way the 90% game have no sense so I dont want to go your solution, its basicly same as playing with cheats. I have problem that time stops when you fighting.

I remember in one of the previous versions, time did progress for a fixed amount when you're fighting. Maybe it can be modded back in?

Just started this.. And I seem to have an issue.. Or maybe I'm missing a limiter that's not clear..

I capture two ratkin during the first fight, easy no issues.
But in the second fight, even with almost the same exact ratkins, I can only capture two of the three, even if I make more yokes before the second fight. :ROFLMAO:

Are we limited to 4 at the start? Or am I just crazy..

No, you are not limited by anything except capturing tools.
But the capture difficulty varies depending on various circumstances.
The biggest variable is how hurt your enemies are (in percentage), so it's actually counter-productive to remove their clothes if you want to capture them.
The second biggest variable is their compliance - equipping enemies with collars before attempting to capture them improves your chances greatly, as does fighting naturally compliant enemies.
The third variable is that boss enemies have low capture chances, and "cursed" roles (such as slave or maid) have low capture chances if there are any uncursed enemies left.

I am not sure if it is still a thing but earlier versions had malus to catch chance if you had many girls unhoused. Now its not described anywhere so it might or might not be a thing? Anywho - build houses, try to increase captive's lust and lower their health to 1-2 hp, plus toss a collar on her beforehand

Doesn't seem to be an obstacle in the newer versions. At least, I often end up with a lot of unhoused monstergirls after a successful dungeon raid.

Ah.. So was just a skill issue basically. Thank you.

Next question.. I cut off a robe of one of the rats, a red one, didn't have it in my inventory afterwards like some other pieces are.. Are we able to make Ratkin clothing or robes at some point?

Equipment removed or added in combat should remain in your inventory as "bound" equipment. If it disappeared, it's a bug.
Curiously, you can pick fights with wool mages to get yourself some nice wool equipment for free, before you're able to craft it.

Are we able to make Ratkin clothing or robes at some point?
Yes, you will eventually be able to make any item in the game, I think.
But those robes are difficult to craft, you'll need to go further than the 2nd island for them. I think it would need spider-silk. And I'm not even sure they are in Ratkin tech tree branch.
I think you should be able to get padded leather armor by second island, since some monstergirls there keep wolfgirls as pets. Other types of common equipment are either craftable from the start, or need religious research and crystals (available from the 2nd island).

I must say that modding this game is really fun.
I was trying to do something like "character experience story", so for example character that is soldier for many many battles is different then some girl that just get out of breeding house, and go with training.

I created perk that is given on start of battle when you are specific role:

This perk don't give anything at first but you can level it when in battle when some requirements are met, for example in this case you must have block and strength on specific level and have some luck and then this perk will level up:

Then this can give you passive, and this passives will remain even if you change your class, so its possible to "multiclass":

Of course there are balance issues if you go to much with one character, but I think this is fun addition when you not min-maxing and want have fun.

Probably I should set enemies to have more stats when starting the game...
