I like card games. Downloading and I'll see what this one's about. On the off chance you haven't seen TF card battle though, check it out. Their system works pretty well.

EDIT: Alright, gave 'er a whirl after building a deck. Seems fair enough, although I had to look a bit to figure out how much cards costed. Bottom left is atk, middle is cost in depravity, bottom right is health.

Tutorial is acceptable currently, but missing some information. Deckbuilder was working as advertised. AI is braindead as expected. Didn't notice any ass pulling either, so kudos there. Currently isn't a challenge for me,, so I'll wait a bit further along until I try this game again. My suggestion would be to finish up the design space. It's rough, but the bones are there.

I played TF card battle a while ago, and I liked it (although I remember cheating the points to unlock decks, because I found that part grindy).

And yes, the AI is so dumb. I hope I'll be able to make it somewhat challenging on the story mode scenarios: each of those will have a preset deck, and a custom AI tailored for the use of that deck and nothing else, so it should make smarter decisions simply because it will be working with a specific set of cards.

That said, AI is by far the most challenging aspect, mostly due to how time-consuming it is, especially as new cards/skills/abilities are included. The game that I took inspiration when building this one has been in development for over a decade, and its AI is still super dumb, but I'll do my best.

On story mode the player will need to defeat scenarios in order to unlock more and better cards, which will also make players less overpowered.

There's also plans for commander bonuses, which may give story mode commanders unique abilities or bonuses. Players will also be able to unlock bonuses with experience, but I'll make those toogleable, so players can choose whether to get those benefits, or to have a handicap by playing without bonuses against a buffed AI.

It's a long way down the road, but it'll get there through small updates. :)

I understand that it's not very motivating when the game doesn't seem alive or have any followers. But, like somebody before me said, there are a lot of lurkers. There are also people that just want to play your or a game; reviewing and giving feedback costs time, precious game time. So I don't think most people take the effort. Compared to regular triple A games, everybody just buys and plays them, only a fraction give a review or feedback. So I think the amount of downloads is a better indicator of the popularity.

I thought about giving a review (I saw the 1 stars, that's just petty) or giving some feedback. But at this stage of the game it's very difficult to give some concrete feedback, since a lot still needs to be added and I have the feeling a lot will change. For example, I can't really give feedback on the variety of cards, since there is/was only one faction; the lack of different play options / scenarios make the game kind of boring for now, which leads to me not playing it tons of times, it would just be the same again, so I'll wait for the game to flesh out some more, AND because of that, I don't really get to know the game, or play it enough to pinpoint things that really bother me or could be better.

The game shows a lot of promise, and I think a lot of people see that. But it still needs a lot of work. As the development of the game progresses, I guarantee you will get more feedback, reviews, etc. More that you would wish for ;) So I hope you keep going. The addition of a new faction already gives us some more to work with. When I have some time, I'll play the game again with the new faction and see if I can write up a review.

Maybe i shouldn't say it confused me, is more like i'm not in to card games and couldn't pay it at the time.
But i really like this one, same like Echoes "Cards of Destiny" (had a hard time with this at first), but somehow this project of yours remind me of "Brothel King" :)
Cheers! everything is fine, you've the same issue as me, I've got tons of Daz 3d resources (2 terabytes) but lacking the hardware to work with it!
Working on building a rig with a mobo for 2 Intel Xeon processors (about 24 cores) and at least 128 GB of ram, i just wish in Mexico i could get the hardware accelerators from AMD instead of regular graphics cards (this are used for training AI models), but at the moment money is tight (I had to invest lot of money on other sources of income).
Also, for me it will be more for Ren'py AVNs, i'm more a graphics artist and web dev, than a game dev, but i wouldn't rule out collaboration from game devs, that's why i want to keep in touch with you and commented on your tread.
It's for a business enterprise, legally registered in the Mexican Chamber of Commerce, trying to not be dependent on Patreon with a website and a proprietary paywall system to avoid censorship, but also open it to other creators sick and tired of Patreon (flipping the bird to them).
Planning to take over, abandoned projects from this site also, i really think we fans need closure on our favorite AVNs :)

Is it a specific card? It shouldn't happen, as the AI checks if a card can be afforded before deploying it, but with thousands of lines of AI code, I'm sure I've made mistakes.

If you click on the magnifying glass button at the top-right, and then click the first option ($aid) so that it changes to "true", it will show you what the AI is doing on the console window.

At the end of the turn, it always displays the remaining resources for the AI. I even included a line to create a warning there if the AI spends resources that it doesn't have, because this was an issue during the prototype. haha
I ain't sure which card it is but it ain't the one that spawns 3 of those 4/2 card. Let me put the scene, I had like 2 of those masochist card in def and 1 of those 0/20 card and in the attack, I had 2 Pirates, and 2 of those Dominatrix card and 2 nurse support. While on the enemy's side, there is no attacker, and 3 defenders, a techno and 2 decoys. Forgot which turn it was but it was 10+.
Anyways, after finishing my turn, the enemy only had like 8 HP left, and all of the sudden they had the 18/14 tatsumaki card and 5 other cards in attacking that has like 7/10 or 10/4 or something like that. And pretty much wiped my ass after two turns because it obliterated my defense.

It's true that without hundreds of cards, the game can get a bit boring. I was trying to counter that through the addition of modding, but I don't know if anybody has bothered making a mod - nobody has shared one, so maybe I'll scratch the more complex modding options that I had planned and use that time to work on core features.

Yeah, I understand that struggle. 3D rendering is resource hungry, and hardware isn't cheap.

Regarding the alternative payment platform, it sounds great, although the issue isn't with Patreon itself - it's Mastercard and Visa who make those rules, so if you plan on accepting card payment or PayPal, you'll always be at risk of them denying you the use of their cards (which is basically all cards worldwide) in your platform.

But if you find a way to make it work, it'd be fantastic, and I'm sure many of us would join your platform. :)
Trust me; most devs are fed up with mastercard and wish nothing but for it to burn to the ground - many of us would like to include more diverse kinks in our works, but don't because that risks cutting off our already small income from these projects.

That's very strange. I can think of 2 or 3 scenarios where that could happen, but they are very specific and unlikely.
I'll take a look at the relevant code. If it happens again, please drop a screenshot here so that I can check the specific cards involved.

Hi! The white number on the hand and council cards is their cost. If you have enough depravity (♥) to buy them, you can drag and drop them.

Most cards from the hand can only be moved to the deployment area on the first turn, unless their description shows the "premature orgasm" passive, which allows them to deploy directly to the attack area.

Cards from the council can be moved to any other area when bought.

There's always workarounds my friend and now a days even web browsers like Brave gave you access to a cryptocurrency wallet.
But it's really necessary to counteract censorship for the sake of artistic creativity and real freedom of speech.

Hi! While I was strictly using AI-generated pictures when the game was first released, I've now started using a mixture of real pictures with AI touchups or backgrounds:

The new (animated) defeats are also unedited real porn gifs.

also on the same mod, backdoor siege displayed twice in passive skill
dunno if that's intended or a bug (SHA006)

want to add similar skill to [backdoor siege] but deployed to defense zone
but that means modder had to modify the base file
maybe later update will add simple logic to mod new passive and active, and ability card
but will be writable from mod.js

rarity of the card on top left side, when in deck builder screen
turnable card so desctxt and descquote can populate the backside
abilities description on hover instead of topside textbox

I'll definitely add one like that - I have a faction planned which will focus on defense, and it'll include that ability.

That said, I hope to eventually add fully moddable abilities so people can code whatever they like.

Both are great ideas! I'll likely implement the rarity on the next release.
The turnable cards may take a bit longer, but I'll add it too, or add some other way to give more room for the descriptions.

That's from the mod loading logic. It sounds like something that would happen when there's a mod on the list, but there isn't a function with the name of that mod.

Here is a mini update:

- Includes the fixes from the other post.
- A new "stripping" mechanic for the commanders.
- The deck builder now shows a rectangle around the faction logo with RPG colors depicting the rarity.
- A couple of new cards.

I'll update the OP later when I get some time.
