VN - Ren'Py - Eruption Imminent [v0.5.1] [MorriganRae]

I don't usually do reviews, but I just have to chime in.

This game is a gem among futa games. Judging by 0.2.0, there's a bright future ahead for Morrigan Rae. There's some real writing skills there.

The Pros:

• really good looking visuals: characters, camera angles, lighting
• erotic scenes: and I mean even when there's no physical getting-it-on. Morrigan manages to make the sparks palpable, whether they're between two characters or just emanating from one
• hot lewd scenes: they're just hot, the visuals and lewd vibes, it all comes together nicely to tickle my brain in all the naughty places
• really good story: it's not often that good visuals come with a good story, that's college-slice-of-life, but mixed with futa and other unusual lewds. And it mixes quite tastefully. Nothing goes to 11/10.

The Con:

• it's still only 0.2.0 as of now
• Need more
• More!
• ...
• But seriously, I'm finding it hard to pick something bad about it in its 0.2.0 state.

All in all, in terms of quality, this is the Futa-world's Being A Dik for me. Big words, I mean em. Best Futa game in my book.

a really well written and well characterized game. the world is a little crazy sounding and they be like "goddess" because not one thing shall have he pronouns but it's still really cool. the renders are nice, the framing is cool, and the story is pretty interesting.
there are no animations but the sound effects are nice and it refrains from doing the 'renpy without animations that still wants to animate stuff' thing where they make you look at the same back and forth images for like 40 inputs

it's extremely meant to be played with the incest version and it is a extremely incest game, with a lot of the story kinda flopping if you don't. right now it's really normal outside of the incest but the ntr stuff does sound scary, but as long as that particular thing is optional in the future, the game is really approachable for everyone

This game popped my virtual futa cherry

Pros:

1. Renders are beautiful <3
2. Story and writing shine the brightest. It's a sort of semi-slow burn and it's gorgeous.
3. Music, sound effects, and animations are decent.
4. Characters are unique and first time I saw a futa with both kinds of genitalia and its portrayed beautifully.

Cons: None.

Verdict: Abso-fucking-lutely pick it up. I mostly dabble only in vanilla but this broadened my tastes and made me enjoy it! Characters act are realistic and it's gonna be good ride.

Wow. Just wow. Having just read the synopsis and played the first 10 mins of this VN, I would never guess that it would actually have a good plot and interesting characters that actually had me intrigued the whole time. This VN also has unnecessarily well-written dialogue for its ridiculous settings. Like, wtf.

"A world where males don't exists. Only females and futas."
Okay, standard hentai plot. I can see where this is going.

"You have low self-esteem! You're a junkie! Incest is bad! And you should be ashamed of yourself!"
W-What? I-I'm sorry! I'll be better! I promise I won't get horny for incest anymore!

See what I mean? The story is waaay too grounded for its dumb world but I'm not complaining. I'm actually invested.
Also massive Life is Strange vibes which will always be a positive in my book.
The music selections is pretty nice too. Not too generic and very fitting for most of the situations.
I would like to see more sex scenes, but considering that the protag is still a virgin, it makes sense that the early versions won't have that many scenes that don't involve fapping or daydreaming.
Overall, super promising. Fingers crossed for the eventual "Completed" tag instead of the dreaded "Abandoned" tag. Can't wait for more.

Visually, this is beautiful. Scenes are high quality and the writing is excellent. The protagonist is instantly relatable, plagued by her own insecurities and self doubts. She is a very feminine futanari in the way she thinks and acts and I found that instantly refreshing. She has withdrawn from the world, hiding within herself, guilt ridden over the crumbling relationship with her sister...she is a very 'human' character and I found myself becoming emotionally connected to her...
Morrigan Rae has created a unique world of females and futanari and I am excited to see how this evolves over time.

Usually avoid 3D VNs, but creator has a pretty solid grasp of lighting and posing for their renders that puts it a tier above the typical daz3d VNs that look more like they were made in Gmod. Protag is fairly relatable and has refreshingly pretty reasonable reactions to situations. I would say it strikes a really good balance between characterization and lewd content that few games manage to do.

Will be one to watch as it develops more.

Review [v0.2.0]

I've never been a huge fan of futa games, and I always see them as a quick Fap material. so I downloaded this game expecting something I could jerk off to then sleep and forget it even existed.

and what I got was an amazing Story-driven game filled with unique and interesting characters, beautifully detailed renders, and an MC that you actually care about (don't worry! there is a good amount of lewd scenes for your homework )
Futa fans are going to love this game, and if you are not a fan of girls with big dicks, I'll ask you to give it a try, you might be surprised.

the ending of Ch.2, JEEZ! never in my life had I thought I would "almost" tear up playing a porn game let alone a futa game.

This is the game I'll be following most assiduously. The characters and visuals so far are really great. You can tell there's a personality to the characters. The quality of the game is really top-notch. If you are into futa this game is a must-have.

I normally don't rate incomplete games above 4 stars as a matter of principal, but this game is... just beautiful. A work of art.

The core gameplay is pretty simple. Static images with music and sound effects within the Ren'Py framework. There have been MANY adult games produced with this formula, and it could be argued this type of game is "outdated" since it lacks any animations or significant gameplay mechanics.

Despite the simple formula, this game is an example of how to deliver a compelling user experience and a highly polished product using simple tools.

I cried while playing this game. The writing is GOOD. The story is SO GOOD. I also enjoyed the arousing erotic elements in good balance.

The phenomenal writing is paired with VERY good imagery, music, and vocal sound effects. All the necessary elements are there and working together quite well.

There are a small number of gameplay choices scattered throughout, but the choices feel meaningful. Different choices lead to different scenes playing out, and I believe at least some of the choices are remembered and tie-in at later points in the game. Most of the adult games I've played have an illusion of choice, so I appreciate this one doing things right.

All-in-all, this is my favorite adult game I've played in quite awhile, and it's one that I'm most excited about. I hope more people start to throw money at this dev on Patreon/SubscribeStar for the good work she is putting into this.

Overall just hella good thus far. Writing is excellent, characters are great, emotions feel very genuine.
It's hard to find games these days which do even one or two of these things correctly, so to find one which manages to somehow get all three is absurdly rare.

I found it by accident, downloaded it to check it out, played through it in one go and totally fell in love with the game.

A fantastic idea with great characters and unique world building. It isn't that long yet, but you can already see all the qualities the game will bring us.
Besides the depraved stuff, there's also a lot of story to tell, and because it's so early in development, most of the depraved stuff is just teasing. But since I personally fell in love with our main character right away, I couldn't care less.

Please give me more, I can't wait to see where else this game will go, and I really hope the developer takes this opportunity to give us a really awesome game.

I installed on a whim but this game is actually amazing. Production quality is S tier and the dialogue and characters are also S tier. Sure the main drama plot device isn't super original but it don't have to be; most adult games fail at the first hurdle which is just having baseline competent writing and characters but Eruption Imminent exceeds this criteria with ease. No full sex scenes yet (outside of dreamscape) for people just trying to get their rocks off, but as I said the art is S tier - plenty of nudity in the current version to judge it by.

Very excited to see the future of this project. Verdict: unless you absolutely hate futa/lesbian you should try this game.

Lovely game, the only issue I find with it is that it is currently lacking true sex scenes when compared to it's size. But as the game is clearly designd to be a slow burn I am fine with it.
The optional NTR content seems promising from 0.2 even if it hasn't truly started yet.
Overall it's a great game that if it keeps getting updates it can become one of the best futa games on this site.

For the most part this is a pretty standard incest porn game, but with twist that all the men replaced by futas. So if you don't like futa content you won't like this.
If you do then it is an excellent entry into the small field of futa protag games.
The writing is solid and the narrative while pretty standard is handled well and the characterizations are fairly realistic and engaging.
it seems like you will be able to be dominate/aggressive or passive/submissive. The latter path with some potential NTR/sharing per the dev.
the visuals and overall presentation are well done too, though no animations (not a huge knock, but noteworthy)
Overall an excellent futa protag game that is recommended for anyone that enjoys futa content

One of the best visual novels I played!!! It has everything you would want in a erotic novel. I'm so invested into the story and it's only just started. The creator writing is phenomenal, story seems to flow seamlessly it really refreshing to find a game where the main focus is on the story. Don't get me wrong there is plenty of "adult content" but it flows into the story so well that at less for me is second to the experience. Also I feel I actually control the direction my "Ashe" will go, which is hard to come by. Granted this game hasn't been on the site for long but from reading the notes we will have a lot branching choices that I'm looking forward to.
I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new game to try. You will not be disappointed.

Very enjoyable futa VN. I love the world setting where it's all females and it's futas and women. The story is interesting, and I like the tags. Especially with NTR being optional, I can have a vanilla game and an NTR game. There are other good tags like pregnancy, swinging, incest, harem, and all that, so it looks like it's going to be a lot of fun going forward.
I love most of the characters too.
It's definitely one of my most anticipated games to see updates for.

Great start for version 0.1! The characters are visually appealing and have their own definite personalities, the sexual tension is high... And it's nice to discover little by little Ashe's story! The setting with a milfy "mentor" and having fantasies about her is not very original, but has somehow become "classic" across many games. Wouldn't be bothered by male characters as well, but the dev made a great work in presenting futas in various degrees of masculinity along actual women rather than including men to the mix. Hope to see more of this amazing game, good job so far!

If futa is your cup of tea, this is definitely worth a try! The artworks are really good and show a lot of promise. The story is full of potential and is set in a modern world populated by futanari and female characters. The sex scenes so far are really good, too! Overall an enjoyable experience. I can't wait for the next update!
