About a year ago, I built this prototype city building game that got some attention going around. I had always felt that this locus of simulation, interaction, and some sort of combat-oriented gameplay was perfect for hentai games, and saw a gap in the market.


Since then, I've managed to gather like minded individuals, a very talented artist and writer onto the project, and we've fleshed it out significantly since then. A large hentai game publisher also took an interest, and offered to support our development. Our thematic focus shifted toward a game about exploration and settlement, think something like a pornographic 4x. Civ game. The game itself had also shifted genres, moving toward a card-focused model more resembling something like Slay the Spire or other virtual deckbuilders, but with a stronger simulation element on the side.

However, about six months into the project, I came down with a severe autoimmune neurological disease, a complication of Covid, and progress was halted for several months. As I struggled through recovery, I came to the realization that I needed additional coders to help me out, and that I couldn't bear the brunt of all the responsibilities of project lead and core developer alone. Furthermore, that game development needed to plan for contingencies like this. My own capacities have also been severely limited by the illness, memory loss and fatigue have significantly strained my own capacities.

As I'm working through new prototypes and we're restarting development, I'm looking for 1-3 experienced Unity developers to help us progress this project. Ideally this would take a significant amount of the pressure off myself and allow me to focus more on management, design, and production.

Compensation would preferably be in the form of revenue sharing, but I can offer a small wage, though not very much.

Requirements:

>Experience in and understanding of Unity, particularly concepts pertaining to
- Scriptable object architecture
- Test based design and development
- Animation tools and implementation

>Have a portfolio of past work.
>An interest in card games/city builders/roguelites is a plus, we're working in the constraints of those genres.
>Game design experience (It's nice to have someone to bounce ideas off of, but this is the least relevant part. Much more important to know how to code)
