I started Eternum thinking it’d just be another “click through, skip to the spicy parts” kinda game… but nah, I got completely sucked in. I’ve been playing it nonstop, and honestly? It might be the best game I’ve played in ages, maybe ever. I’ve never been this hooked on a visual novel before. One second I’m just poking around, the next I’m six hours deep, emotionally invested in a bunch of fictional people.

The setup’s already cool, you move to a new city where everyone’s obsessed with a VR game called Eternum. But it’s not your average VR; it’s full-on “feels like real life” neural implant stuff. Inside, there are servers for everything, fantasy kingdoms, cyberpunk cities, pirate ships, horror worlds, and more. At first it’s all fun and adventure, but pretty quickly you realize there’s a dark side: shady markets, data theft, dangerous mysteries… and you’re right in the middle of it.

What really makes it click is the characters and the writing. Every girl actually has a personality, and you get to know them long before anything NSFW happens. They feel real, and the more you play, the more you care. The plot’s also packed with mystery and suspense that keeps pulling you back in. The humor? Surprisingly great, self-aware without being cringe, able to land both dumb jokes and emotional gut punches. And the music? Way better than it has any right to be.

If you’re only here for constant sex scenes, you might think there’s “too much story,” but that’s exactly why the spicy parts hit harder, they feel earned. I came for the plot (…okay, half for the plot), but stayed for the wild server adventures, lovable cast, and twisty mystery.

On top of that, the visuals are gorgeous, the animations are smooth, and the level of detail shows serious effort. The big updates keep making it better, and every scene feels elevated by its soundtrack. Overall, it’s just an amazing experience start to finish, a must-play for anyone who loves great storytelling and memorable characters.

Amazing game and visual novel! Balanced, funny, interesting story, well-paced, incredibly hot LIs, and some real emotion in there too. Alex's story especially got to me with her scenes, both relentless fucking and some crushing lows.

    Everyone should play this game.

For the most part it was just boring, there's nothing spicy about the scenarios, nothing taboo or exciting. The sci-fi setting is more akin to fantasy imo, not really establishing an immersive world-building.

nothing comes close to this game. playing other avns or going back to summer time saga feels drastic compared to the quality thats in this game. there was a point in time i legit stopped gooning and was paying attention to the lore if you could believe it. plot lines and paths are not convoluted to point where you have to do something so out of the blue to get things going. id recommend playing once in a life time before playing this game as it has multiple references to that game and probably does connect lore wise. good luck

One of the best games of this kind.
Wonderful characters, great pacing and mix of story and explicit scenes. Can't wait for more content, keep up the awesome work!
If I had one thing to criticize it would be the lacking variety of breast/areola types, but in that regard this game is already a huge improvement compared to Once in A Lifetime so I'm not complaining :)

i havent played many avn, but this is hands down the one that imersed me the most and the one i just wanna continue reading forever.

eternum biggest pro is its superior story compared to most other avn. it also have an amazing soundtrack that really makes you feel the scenes and what the charecters are feeling.

it has enough content to not blue ball you, but if you're just gonna skip the talk to see sex this is not a game for you. while writing this the game has hours of playtime if you take your time reading the story.

i recomend every avn enjoyer to at least give this a try

To be honest, at first I wasn't impressed by the game's visuals.
Now I'm on a heist mission and I can say the following:

    - The BJ scene with Nova is awesome :devilish:
    - The dive into the Ancient Rome server was the worst part of the plot (n)
    - The plot is one of the best I've ever played (y)
    - Interesting mechanics that you won't see anywhere else (y)

There are very few sex scenes, but the game is truly amazing, and its storyline and well-thought-out world draw you in. I will also say that at first, the game seemed a little more lustful than it did towards the middle of the storyline. The game starts to turn into a regular game with an interesting plot:cautious: and minimal interactions and decisions from the MC.

But I'm already giving it a well-deserved 9/10 just for the plot and the two cool girls (Nova/Luna).

If you're expecting cool graphics and realism from the game, you're better off playing A Wife and Mother. But Eternium has some cool cutscenes in places, and you can't take that away from the game.

Not a fan of 3D, and especially not into Caribdis' art style — BUT the story is incredibly well written.
Every character is well crafted (in design and personality), and most scenes are solid, with a few standing out as truly god-tier (

Overall: definitely one of the best games on this site, no doubt.

The art is amazing. The in depth backstory of each character is well written and thought out. The story line has me hooked and I am excited to see the endgame. Very much a game you can deeply dive into.

Other games have attempted to reach Eternum's level of quality and depth of content, none successfully. The perfect blend of humor and plot development, excellent rendering and animation. Renowned for a reason. Definitely use the Music Restoration Mod.

This game is amazing. Everything is top tier. Was my first AVN.
It feels like that Eternum is the heart of the AVN Genre.
    + Amazing renders
+ Perfect animations due too the animator
+ growing fanbase and developer team
    + well use of SFX
Would give 10/5 is I could so only 5/5 :)

Let's say right away that in my opinion, this isn't a game, but a visual novel where choices are almost forced, practically completely reducing the player's ability to create their own story, different branches, or the like. It's essentially a story to watch and read, and this is one of the game's flaws.

The story? It's a sci-fi game about college kids playing Eternum, a game that projects you into virtual realities and completely different worlds. This allows for the creation of unique games and episodes with a wide variety of settings. It seamlessly alternates elements from everyday life, science fiction, mystery, and horror, and this certainly makes it compelling. But in and of itself, it wouldn't be anything special if it all stopped there.

So, what makes this game so popular and well-received? The main thing is the depth of each character; each girl has her own story, her own quirks, characteristics, and weaknesses. I have to say I fell in love with every girl in this game and feel guilty for not being able to choose just one, but rather pursue so many stories at once. At the same time, I wouldn't want to abandon any of them because I'd feel like I was betraying them. There's no monotonous dialogue with the girls, making the experience fluid and enjoyable.

My ideal girl in this game? She'd have Penelope's body and beauty, Nancy's femininity and sensuality, Dalia's charm and choices, Luna's sweetness and sensitivity, Alex's character and fragility, Annie's shyness and reserve and Nova's intelligence and wit.

I would recommend Eternum to anyone looking for a well-written visual novel with a compelling story, memorable characters, and high-quality graphics. There are definitely some flaws, first and foremost that it's not really a game, but a story to read, with very few choices. However, this game is definitely one of the best visual novels, making it a worthy contender in this genre. It's definitely worth trying.

'Eternum' is one of the most popular and beloved AVNs out there, and for good reason.

It is light-hearted in every aspect: in its setting, writing, themes, fantasies of immense power, teasing, tone, humor, characterization, occasionally wild maledom sex, conspiracies, meta-awareness, silly subversions of story formulas, dialogue, and the intricacies of maintaining a harem of perfect women who adore you for being a good man—the only eligible one in existence, actually, given that all others are either laughable buffoons or sleazy bastards.

Time and again, I notice this gentle touch in the game. Good people are good, and bad people are bad. Fun times are fun, and sad times are sad. It paints in broad strokes without going overboard, and without risking offense to anyone’s sensibilities.

The talent here lies not only in its high production value (sometimes outstanding – the game is pushing what we can reasonably expect from AVNs, especially in the later episodes!), but also in maintaining this tone while hinting at the niche, dark, and creepy themes that often draw people to adult media in the first place. I’ll give you some examples.

As I’ve said, sex here is mostly dominant (not BDSM-y), with netori undertones. Now, there are moments when the protagonist is insatiably horny after "corrupting" a girl, but it’s always about unleashing her inner succubus, and never about menacing control, which is «corruption» proper.

"We live in a dark world full of corruption and moral decay," remarks one NPC, and she’s right, both about our world and the one we have in «Eternum». The game occasionally touches some grim subjects: bulling, rape, slavery, societal decay, and more. Sometimes these dark elements serve the narrative, other times they just linger. Yet you can easily play through without being conscious of them at all. It’s all there, surely, and for a reason (sometimes for kinks; sometimes for the narrative), but I don’t think anyone will think of them when they hear people speak about this game.

Just look at the game’s visuals. Notice how cartoonish they are? That’s the how it’s written as well, and it is perfectly consistent.

When I played, I noticed a lot of things that do not resonate with me. Take the premise: supposedly, it revolves around an MMORPG called Eternum, with servers spanning fantasy, pirates, horror, and more. Narratively, it’s the easiest way to provide our gooning and overstimulated minds with varied encounters—from infiltrating vampire lairs to Wild West saloon brawls. Yet none of these servers truly challenge you. A whodunnit mystery? You’ll solve it by clicking highlighted circles. A "no one can hear you scream" space horror? There’s a single "press X to die" moment, but that’s it. An «Ocean’s Eleven»-style heist? Just a kinetic sequence. Isn’t it all terribly silly?

Well, yes. But that’s the point.

This is a feel-good experience – the ultimate one, in fact, because it manages to let the horny in.

    **P.S.**
The developer’s prior game, «Once in a Lifetime», maintained a similar tone, but felt more amateurish and small-scale. That’s why I preferred it, actually. Sometimes «Eternum» is just too big for its own good, but hey, sometimes a big game is just what we need.

Story sucked me in more than expected and the writing is super hot. Love the kinks, the girls, was left yearning for more content at the ending since I was so immersed! AAA Title game for Renpy imo. Props to the developers and thanks for the hot girls

100/10 of EVERYTHING. The art, the story, the humor and even the scenes like damn. I know the update takes a long time but each update is worth the wait and the hype. Thank god a friend of mine recommend this to me.

I love the depth to all the characters, the various locations, the story, and the random humor thrown in makes me bust out laughing sometimes. I can’t wait for the newest update I think about this game literally every day!

Well, what to say about the game… it’s fine, I guess. Sadly, for a VN, the story is pretty generic: school setting, bullies, an MC with mystical powers, and all the hot girls in town who have apparently been waiting their whole lives for him, because every other male character is either a freak or a jerk.

It has high-quality renders, and the models look good, though it’s a bit weird that the girls’ mom looks like she’s only a few years older than her daughters—which isn’t exactly uncommon in this kind of games.

I’d rate it 3.5 for the graphics; everything else is average at best.

It is a great game and I had a lot of fun with it. The writing makes this a lot more then just a generic porn game. I also think that this game has a lot of funny moments. Though that being said it also has some great sex scenes as well.

Have never played any avn and stumbled across this by chance and damn what an experience for my first ever avn. That horror house sequence and the study session with Alex in early game made it clear that this is something beyond a porn game and it just kept getting better. Comedy, action, emotional moments, it has bit of everything.

MC is likeable enough and has obvious flaws which become a part of his development and girls are all unique and super likeable. That's why I appreciate this is a harem game with a linear storyline and one true route, leaving the path of any girl sucks.

Also the renders, sex scenes and even other animations in newer updates are just overkill for a VN lol, it's so cool. you can tell this is definitely a passion project, huge props to Caribidis and animator Dread. Also the music makes it so much better, many of them are now part of my personal playlist. Writing this makes me want to do another playthrough lol, can't wait for next update
