Really immersive storytelling. This game really adapts the concept of isekai and brings it to a whole new level. Must try for story lovers. Show support to the developer of the game if you can afford to.(they deserve it)
If you are reading this right now, don't wait any longer, don't bother reading more about this game, simply to download it, as soon as possible, and enjoy one of the best AVNs out there in the recent years.
Easily the best visual novel on F95, and it's not far-fetched to say it's the BEST visual novel in existence. Other reviews have already touched on the quality of renders, models, animations and the LI's general attractiveness, so I'll focus on two other things:
1. Writing: The game comes with a strong premise that allows itself to hit every and any interest possible. You want fantasy? We have Ekabar and Hyril'ar. You want science-fiction? We have Ion for cyber punk and Andromeda for space adventure. You want murder mystery? The Red Herring. You want American wild west? The Frontier trails. Pirates? New World. Ancient Egypt? Valley of Kings. Spartan Coliseum? Semper Invicta. Casino heists? New Vegas. Harry Potter? Warthogs. You get the point.
This one plot point evolves into a story with elements of action, adventure, mystery, and some top-tier humor (seriously, Caribdis' humor is severely underrated), with plenty of opportunities for our MC to build a romantic relationship with the LIs. The way the story unfolds through each update keeps the fans craving for more.
2. The romance: I've rarely come across a harem game on F95 where I've loved and cared for every single LI, but Eternum managed to make me do just that. Of course, I still have my strong favorites Annie and Luna, but literally every female lead in this game is written to be attractive and loveable. Again, on this front, Caribdis also hit many archetypes: The adorably shy best friend, the physically active childhood friend, the fashionable and popular older neighbor, the straightforward but thoughtful MILF, the mysterious half-latina who gradually opens up to you, the awkward nerdy hacker girl, the rebellious girl from a rich family who eventually lets her guard down around you,
They are ALL such lovely and complex characters, who all develop over time and contribute towards moving the plot forward in their own unique way. Not a single one of them makes you think "geez, literally NOTHING in this game would change if she wasn't here"
All in all, Eternum is a phenomenal visual novel that more than deserves its high praise. Just don't recommend it as the first VN experience to someone new to the genre, because it would set the standard so high it would ruin their experience for other games.
Best game I have played so Far. This one hits all the notes and perfectly. With the 60fps mod, all the juicy scene animations are phenomenal. The story is fun to follow and actually has some depth to it. Comedy is pretty decent, characters are awesome and the transitions can be quite fun during scenes. It has left me wanting more! Look forward to future updates.
A perfect game. Caribdis's magnum opus, truly an amazing story. Everything to the world, the characters, the SEX UGH ITS SO GOOD. Each chapter is an amazing addition to the story and ends so perfectly, I can't wait until it's finished.
Well written, engaging story with a varied cast of characters with fun personalities that shine through. Top-tier animation in each scene which have all been expertly crafted and presented. Fun humor and recurring bits throughout. Wasn't bored at any moment playing this.
Unbelievable vn no words can describe the story
Animations in this game are on top level, as like as scenes - they are very good also. And I'll repeat myself about the story but this is the only game where I loved the plot and was waiting for update like mad.
This is incredible. At first, I never thought games like this could be anything more than mindless jerk-off material. The usual formula: boring gameplay and sex scenes just to keep you motivated to continue. To be honest, I thought this game was exactly the same. I won’t lie — this time I also came for a new batch of scenes, but I had more free time than usual, so I decided to actually read through episode 0.9 in full.
My English isn’t great, so with the help of some tools I translated the episode into Russian. And what can I say in the end? This game left me with unbelievably strong emotions. I laughed, I cried, I worried about characters I knew nothing about — their lore, their past, their inner struggles. Around the middle, roughly after we said goodbye to Calypso, I closed the game, downloaded a proper translation, and started over from the very beginning.
I read every single line of dialogue carefully. I honestly stopped caring about the sex scenes — I was just reading, reading it like the best book of my life, even though I absolutely hate reading. Seriously. I skipped through the sex scenes just to find out what would happen next as fast as possible. An incredibly gripping story, outstanding music and sound design. I swear, when Calypso threw Orion into the portal, I shed a quiet tear.
I can’t find a single flaw in this game. Everything that can be evaluated deserves the highest possible score. Every character is captivating in their own way, even if you completely ignore their physical appearance. It’s a shame that the highest subscription tier costs roughly a week’s salary from a regular job, and my financial situation simply doesn’t allow me to support the author of this masterpiece.
Even if we single out the sex scenes as a separate topic: they are not random. Every scene is exactly where it belongs. They’re not there just to tick a box — they feel like the period at the end of a sentence in the story. I’ll go even further: even if there were no sex scenes at all, this game would still deserve to be at the very top.
The overall render quality of the game also deserves special mention. It clearly improves as you progress, and not just in the sex scenes — the regular story setups look flawless as well.
I’m in a state of euphoria. I simply don’t have enough words to fully describe this game.
I also want to say thank you. Just thank you. Thank you for this work — it truly deserves respect. It truly deserves the years of waiting for a new chapter.
A truly well-made game! Spectacular cutscenes, an excellent story, and a perfect mix. Every update is always top-notch, highly recommended. I definitely believe it's one of the best games out there, if not the best, both qualitatively and quantitatively.
Most probably the best game on here:
*Excellent Graphics. animations , prolugue and story
This definately one of the VN that is keeping me on the edge of my seat and when that damn update screen comes on I want to go and kick the nearest bully's ass just to get rid of my frustration.
peak fiction, excellent renders and actually developed characters. dev is transparent about progress and dosent milk, 20~ hours of reading if actually playing two-handed — what more could you ask for?
wallahi try it and you wont regret it
This game is the highest rated one on the site for a damn good reason. It's funny, there's real emotion, the characters are smoking hot and their dynamics are compelling. There's some small textual issues, but nothing major. All in all, a fantastic experience.
What else to say other than Peak? This is one of those games that takes you by the balls when it comes to the story and takes you everywhere else by the content and the animation something like this are levels above other games. And so happy Cabidis showcased so much improvement during the last work and honestly Once the complete version is out I will be there.
What can i say about this game? hundreds of people already said.
This is amazing, good writing, funny, awesome characters, amazing personality, and even more good things that i will not say because why? if it can be good it is.
The only bad part is that it will end one day.
A really example to follow and a real masterpiece of this community.
There isn't much else to say
Render wise, this game is the highest standard that any Honey Select game could aim to be. Everything is top notch, and Luna, imo, maybe the prettiest (in a more unique side) model. All else is good
Storywise, I think it's doing a good job, good, not really great imo,
All the characters are lovely, and fitting for a harem game, make you want to engage all of them
Overall, Eternum does everything right enough for everyone to like it, with some aspect stand out and no controversy to hold back its popularity
Eternum has awesome humor, great characters, great scenes, and a good story. Did I mention the humor? It's got one of the funniest scenes in any avn. It's real easy to praise this avn. Look forward to every version that comes out.
Came for lewd content, stayed for the story. Its funny, well written and the cinematography on this is sometimes way too good. The amount of content already in is huge and theres still more to come. The girls are all great characters you can fall for in a heartbeat.
I'll say up front, that the sex scenes are the most important part of an AVN to me. If I ranked this game through chapter 4 (v .4), it would have been much lower. However, the game greatly improves the sex scenes from chapter 5 on featuring:
Attractive love interests, even if not hyper-realistic.
Great range of body types.
Full animation (i.e. motion).
Sound effects (they get much better in the later chapters).
Excellent use of speed as characters approach climax.
Great use of body physics.
Good variety of positions.
Good scene length overall.
Good use of camera movement, at least in the earlier scenes.
Harem playthrough seems possible (at least through chapter 8).
I could only come up with a few ideas to improve the scenes (at least for me):
Inclusion of female voiced moans and squeals.
Ability to select and revisit positions before the scene ends.
Some full sex scenes with side characters.
Better distribution of sex scenes throughout the entire game.
The last point was the biggest issue for me. Chapter 1 included a full sex scene with Eva. Thinking that set the tone for the rest of the game, I found myself disappointed chapter after chapter with no full scenes like that again. Rather, you are limited to flirting, kissing, and at most oral sex with your love interests. For me the frustration culminated with a big old blue ball at the end of Chapter 3. To Caribdis' credit, he does improve the quality and quantity of the scenes starting in chapter 5 with a character even noting the afore mentioned incident. I understand wanting to save full sex scenes with love interests until you've "done the work" to charm them, but in the meantime, I would have liked some full steamy scenes with side characters until you reach that point (e.g., Maat, Welin, Regina, etc.).
The story is interesting, and the setting opens unlimited possibilities for stories and adventures. The dialog, for the most part, is very good and the humor hits well. There were a couple times where I felt the MC was predatory (e.g., first romantic scene with Annie) or "simpy" but if you can overlook these instances, you'll enjoy it.
I highly recommend this AVN as long as you're willing to put the time into it. Based on what I like, I didn't find myself fully enjoying it until chapter 5.
