This game has really grown on me over time. With each update, pretty much everything about it continues to improve, especially the renders and animations.

With the first few updates, I couldn't really distinguish this game from any other Honey Select harem game. But now I can safely say that Eternum is a cut above the rest of that genre. The characters are likeable and have actual chemistry with the MC, the sex scenes are hot and well animated, and the build-up to the harem route has been pretty decently-paced so far. The attempts at humor and pop culture references don't really land for me, but this game's sense of humor absolutely beats the unbearable cringe I've had to read through with other games like this.

Mind you, Eternum is NOT perfect. I find most of the different worlds' stories pretty boring and cliche, and tend to hastily skim through most of the lore dumping and flavor text until it gets back to a major plot point or more time with the girls. I also fear that this is going to be one of those polyamorous situations where the girls only ever do sexy things to the MC and not each other. That'd be pretty boring sexually, at least in my opinion. I hope future updates lean into the taboo of the situation and give us more girl on girl content.

Overall, definitely give Eternum a shot. There's already a ton of content and I personally can't wait to see how Caribdis continues to improve as a developer.

One of the best VN games I've seen on here so far with an awesome set of unique and hot characters. The story is very exciting and original but also pretty easy going and the more it advances the better and more mysterious it gets. My experience was so good, I think I don't even need any choices in this game. The developer could make this a completely linear experience and it would still be one of the best games.
The music in the game was great too. The tracks complemented the scenes very well. I recommend playing with music for an enhanced experience.
Animations are also top notch and get even better later on.

This game is easily 5/5 stars. It's pretty much what a VN should be like.
Just trust the developer and dive into the story, make sure you don't accidentally lock a path to see all the goodies and enjoy.

Review for Version 0.8.0

This is the best visual novel I have ever played, on any website, on any platform, in any genre. It is a masterpiece of storytelling, emotion, and, yes, horniness. Caribdis, should you ever read this: well done with this superior product.

At the start, the story is a bit trite, in terms of the standard homecoming, but it quickly progresses into something more, ah, engrossing, both in terms of the emotions displayed and the worldbuilding itself. The music is pitch-perfect when it matters and fully evocative, the humor is fine and lighthearted, and the renders are purely aretḗ to the point of perfection; clearly, a great deal of time and care has gone into this game. There is a discernible plotline that is well-executed, and I can find no fault with the UI system whatsoever.

This does bring me to my sole critique, and it is trifling but still important: the setting of the game, and various inaccuracies. Properly assuming that it takes place in the modern day, it does lead me to wish that this had gone through some sort of beta-testing by an American; as an American, I can confidently say that very few of us would use the term "wanker" as vulgar slang, high-school teachers are generally referred to as "Mr. Smith" or whatever (seeing "Professor Keating" was jarring), and that high-school students are almost certainly NOT talking about drinking alcohol in public (my escapades as a 17-year-old university freshman are a separate matter). Though some of it is rectified later, at the start it is immersion-breaking, and it is a minor point, but I would hope that any stories set in the United States would actually pass through a beta-reading. Indeed, that especially comes up with a certain character who enjoys swimming, who is said to watch the Olympic swimming trials as "winter is coming"; presumably, this is the autumn. In the USA, Olympic swimming trials are always held in the summer months, not when "winter is coming". (I should know: I was at the last trials, and it was sweltering.)

Setting those minor inaccuracies and errors aside, however, the game is a tour de force otherwise. One's choices truly do matter: you can choose how to proceed forward with, say, one character over another (I, for one, do not like MILFs, for instance), and Caribdis respects those choices. Not all authors do.

I am also happy to report that I can find no errors with grammar, spelling, or syntax: all of which are exceptionally important for any end-user good; and this delivers in spades. I'm also happy to note that the user-interface allows for rewinding scenes and skipping them, as needed; not all developers are kind enough to not disable those features, and I have frequently found that stance to be one that detracts from their games as a result. Nor can I find fault with Caribdis's policy to keep this game free at all costs.

In sum: my plaudits to the author. He even got the Chinese right.

ADDENDUM: I wish to withdraw certain objections, namely the one about the drinking age. However, it would have been better for that to have been mentioned earlier.

OMG This game is amazing, everything is perfect and i mean it.
Ok i admit the story wasn't that good in the start (Compared to the story we have now)(im not saying the story was bad im saying that now is a masterpiece) but i played it because of the character design and good s** scene, but after some updates the story became better the animation became better the graphics became better, in overall the game became so good that after one update (i think it was 0.4.0) i play most because the story and the animation, and the recent update (0.8.0) is so good i didn't finished it yet but it was very good so far.
In overall I enjoyed playing this game and i think this is the best game that you can play in this genre.

I've been following this AVN since 0.5. No update has ever disappointed me at any point. It actually gets better with each update thanks to some kind of witchcraft, I guess.

I've often wondered why I never skipped any dialogue even on subsequent playthrough.
I think I found my answer the more I play.
Every thing that this AVN does, it does it well, with intent. Literally everything.
Even minuscule details, like commas, ellipsis, sfx (hell even some switch between renders) feel like they are placed for a reason. Be it to set up some tension, building up a setting, portraying character's emotions and feelings.
All the songs and soundtrack playing during the scenes feels almost commissioned for it. In fact, it his the case for one in 0.8 (the game is that good).
This VN definitely has a subtle atmosphere in it and around it.

The story is at first pretty simple, you'll follow a very young adult eager to play your typical MMO in VR with a school setting. It will change drastically has the world of Eternum slowly reveil his secrets. In reality, the school is barely used as a stage and most of the story take place in Eternum or some various place around the real world.

Along his various adventures, the MC will meet new friends, rekindle long lost friendship. Maybe even find love, solace and purpose ?
And I'm sure he will because all the love interests are stellar, divine, extremely sensual and sexy. Literral angels fallen from heaven.
Even if at first glance some may look cliché, you couldn't be further from the truth. Each has distinctive traits, passions, stories, flaws.
For example let's take Nova, a nerdy girl with an eyepatch, often with an electronic device in hand, not a lot of friends if even. You'll think she's shy and reserved. None of it, it's the opposite, also very energetic. A tomboy then ?
Well, yes maybe a bit, but from time to time, on a random scene, I can't help but stop and admire how feminine and sexy she subtly can be.
Orion (MC) is, without a doubt, a VERY lucky guy because 7 of these girls angels fate will entertwined with his.
Thank god, it is an harem game so he won't have to choose.

The events that unfold will provide their share of drama, twists, passion, love, horror, mystery and fun. Miraculously seamlessly.

A scene never feels out of place, unless intended by the author.

With all those qualities that I mentionned, you'll guess that the h-scenes are of the same caliber.
This assumption is wrong, because those scenes are litterally the best that I've ever seen. They are also fully animated (with sound, sfx, all qualities that I mentionned before).
Most reviewers say that they will follow the story even without the lewds or that they are the "cherry on the top". I tend to disagree. Nevermind, I completly disagree.
They are the culmination of each character passions and feelings. They are clearly an essential part of the game. Making them really intense. Maybe this is not true for the first ones, but you can't deny it for the latest ones.

If you still didn't play this game, you're not doing yourself a favor.

Forgot to mention but this is obvious if you have seen the previews, the game is drop dead gorgeous.

Thank you Caribdis for this experience, I had to pledge on patreon after this update, I felt like stealing, even if it has a free release.

My opinion? It's too well structured, well written, and far too enjoyable to not like. From the character development, the lore, the funny gags in between, all of it I like. 10/10 would play indefinitely.

Nearly perfect scenes, well-crafted character models, distinct and vibrant character designs, a gripping and dramatic storyline, captivating performances, humorous dialogues, and some thought-provoking commentary on real-world societal issues... Of course, with T0-level intimate scenes.
This is the kind of game that makes you eagerly anticipate updates while dreading to know the eventual conclusion of the story. Regardless, if you're looking to play just one R18 game, it has to be Eternum.

i played my life since i was 6 Games, read Books, and watched much TV.
But THIS is one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE.
Not even on any Visuel Novel Games, one of ALL Storys.

Thank you really for your Game. I loved every second of it even when i not fap on it, its so much connection going on.

I love all Characters they are so different but still realistic and just perfect.

By far the best game I´ve played on this site. Best animations I´ve seen in this kind of game by far. The time between updates is definetly worth the wait for this quality we are getting. Definetly waiting for this game to get updates and see how this will someday end

One of the best games on this site hands down, what more can you say. Great animation, great story, great characters. I get that someone complain about how long it takes between updates but if the price of the wait is this quality you'll never see me complain, and others should do the same. Great job!

Still the best Novel game for me even after all these years I played since 0.1.0
The animation keep getting better and more common which is like mind blowing, worth the wait every single time.
The story get more and more in-depth with each update.
The characters development pacing doesn't feel rush and isn't slow at the cost of less NSFW scene.
Much love to all the creators who wrote, animate and voice acted in this project. You guys are the best.

-I am abit sad they are not focusing on Luna but can't really complain that much caz we get banger animation for other heroine
-The cliff hanger are always spot on and too good that it makes the wait even harder. Yes I am complaining because it's too good

Edit: I see many people giving this low rating and for those who read those review, This is a game with the slow and steady pacing where you get to see many character developments for every single characters[ not just LIs ].

Don't expect pump and done story for this game. I started playing to fap but stayed since 0.1.0 for the story of every single characters.

I just love this game. The script, the visuals, the humor, firls, all just really GOOD. The only aspect that can be improved is sex, as for my taste, it would be cool to see bore butt stuff involved, if you know what i mean, But anyway great job, can reccomend for anyone who love this type of games!

Amazing game, everything is 10/10. The story? Truly captivating, the models and animations are peak. Relations between characters are plausible, and not forced at all. Music is very good, it's humor one of the best i've ever seen in these games. You can see the amount of work and love everyone involved in the development of the game has put. And every time Eternum updates, it does not disappoint. This is the only game that makes me want more every time I finish the newest update.

Where to start... The game is weak, it has no interesting things. From the beginning we look like someone who wouldn't touch a woman and that's what happens. Terrible characters, terrible animations, renders that need improvement, sex scenes? Boring and monotonous. Nothing in this game is engaging, I hope there are as few games like this as possible.

I'll keep this short as there are many reviews saying the same thing. This is an example of a creator doing everything right.

Story: Top notch. Excellent world building with believable characters. It's also legitimately funny, dramatic, and poignant.

Audio: Again, excellent. Great, memorable music choices and perfectly timed sound effects both during adult scenes and during the normal course of the story.

Adult content: Before the last two updates I would have put it in the top ten, but after careful consideration I would have to say this is the number one game on F95 when it comes to the adult content. Great, sexy dialogue (especially the use of different fonts, sometimes moving fonts, to elaborate on just how MUCH they're enjoying themselves), numerous lengthy animations, and perfect, realistic progression that isn't same-y. Some characters you sleep with relatively quickly while others take several scenes of building up, but it's always believable.

I said this would be short, but I can't say enough good things about this title. Carbidis continues to outdo himself with each update.

Funny and engrossing story with great world building, beautiful music, and sex scenes that'll knock your socks of? What more do you want from a visual novel?

The biggest thing I can say about this game, and actually Caribdis other game, once in a lifetime, as that it is almost too full of memes and meta humor. That's just what kind of games they are, there's a lot of fucking around, doing spoofs, quipping and referencing. If that's not your thing, it may get frustrating. I can tolerate it, but it does get grating at times. Because of this, stakes can often be left behind, and you come to expect that even when dramatic cliffhangers happen at the end of an update, comedy will be present early in the next update to break the tension. Not to say this is a bad thing, it's just a very predictable style. The story is a unique take on ideas that have already been explored, but the writing is good enough to make it fresh. The girls feel a little similar to Caribdis previous game, two sisters + mom + a bunch of outside girls that all become best friends on a quest to fit the MC's dick into themselves as deeply as possible, but they also just feel like upgrades over the girls from the previous game, better models, more unique personalities, and more connected to the MC on a personal level. The animations are great, the variety and frequency of sex scenes are great, the romance is great, everything is just great and dandy in this game.

But one thing will knock it down a star in the next update (joke), and that is if in the sex scenes, Caribdis keeps using that fuckass sound effect whenever a position is changed, it happens in every single sex scene and it has made less and less sense every time. You'll be plowing a girl on a stone floor doggy style, then the scene will change to prone, but the fucking chair falling over sound effect will still play and it's taking me out every time cause I know its gonna happen. Please stop with it, I beg you

A brilliant game with a gripping, fantastic story. The sexy characters are exceptionally well done and full of life.
It feels like a playable, living anime... with intense and great lewd scenes.

There should be many more games of this special quality.
