This one is so boring compared to the last two games. Pixelfade didn't even attempt to do anything new in this game. It's by far the worst game from them yet.
It's literally just Ace Academy and Crystalline combined together in the worst possible way. Every "event" is just the same shit you saw in the previous games, except now there isn't even an underlying mini-game system whatsoever. AA had the robot battles and crystalline had the mini-game fights. This one has absolutely nothing. It's also got a LOT less humor than the previous games which, for me, was quite frankly the only appealing aspect of this developer's games.
The MC has absolutely no personality. He feels like a side character in most events, barely having any presence at all. The choices feel tacked on as if their only purpose is to remind the player that the MC is even there. Most of the choices can be completely cut out and nothing would be lost.
Most of the "right" choices that unlock the CGs have you picking the kiss-ass and boring choices every time they come up. On that note, this game is chock full of cringy-ass shit. The good samaritan's club, everything surrounding the student council and Erilynn, any events involving the Aunt and Uncle. Sunshine and rainbow vomit. Typical shounen hero of justice shit. Any confrontations are resolved as if they were written by a cringy keyboard warrior with his signature fedora hat on his head.
This game is basically just one irrelevant event after the next. Hotsprings trip, trip to the beach, trip to the mall, event at whatever stupid pointless club you picked out of the 3 awful choices, event at the bread shop, another event at the bread shop. Absolutely none have any bearing on the story whatsoever. You can cut all the events out of the game or mix them up in a different order and you will not have missed even a single bit of the story. Absolutely awful storytelling and everyone that talks about how "great" this game is here and on steam should be ashamed. It's pathetically bad.
Only two routes with both girls being uninteresting characters with barely any personality and the worst voice acting of any of the previous girls. The haughty princess and the rich emotionless loner. Erilynn's character and voice acting in particular is especially annoying. Kira has a stupid-looking haircut and acts a lot like Amy from the previous game without the cuteness that made her character so endearing, so instead, she's just boring and doesn't have any soul.
Like Ace Academy, the relative has the best personality of the girls (and voice acting) but of course, that locks you out of their route. There's honestly no reason to have her as the MC's cousin. It's only purpose being to lock us out of the most interesting character yet again. (Kara & Amelia / Nikky)
