Nope, loli art and other works are not illegal in the states at least, so long as it of course is PURELY fictional and not based on any existing person(though I think California has more dumb laws/restrictions when it comes things that are fiction). Not sure about Canada or down below in South America.

Either way, unless they use their irl name while drawing stuff, I don't see how such things would get attributed to the artist short of them actively bringing their portfolio of stuff to job interviews

That's the biggest issue, to me. I don't mind big tits and ass and whatnot, but when the tits are bigger than the rest of the lady's body, her ass is so big and wide that she'd have trouble fitting through a doorway in any direction, and the head is such a tiny little thing that it looks more like a growth than a body part, I don't see how you can be okay with that. And so much of the big tit art floating around in h-games is like that. It's not attractive, imo, it's offputting.

Unless you are just being hyperbolic, I think what you are describing is more of a depiction of a specific fetish, and well, the defining element of any fetish is that it is incomprehensible and gross to people who don't have it (like me). A fair point, of course, having an unappealing fetish be so prevalent can be really obnoxious as it just flat out ruins games you would otherwise have enjoyed. A big part of what drew me to this title was the realistically sized chest, though she could stand to be aged up for my tastes. Sad to see it go.

I guess what I was trying to get at is that even in when it's not deliberately disproportionate fetish material and the artists are just trying to draw a standard large-breasted figure, they are often shit at it.

probably financial choice but artists want to get paid too. better order all CG instead parts.

They're right that the abandoned tag is unwarranted on that game as it's fully finished, it's just listed as "abandoned" because the dev said they might add additional content later on.

All I got from that is that some dumb judge and cops( and likely a karen too) made a poor guys life hell cause they wanted to misinterpret the law. And seeing how that mentions/links the Protect Act, I'll just choose to treat it the same way I do that, as an abuse of power that seeks to use vague wording in laws in order to prosecute whomever the fuck they want with no consequences nor care for actual justice.

Bottom line though, loli isn't illegal. Its just that some courts want to stretch existing obscenity laws so that it applies to fiction as well. If I had ever bothered to save the many documents, articles, threads, and fuck knows what else that I've seen others make/write explaining why loli isn't illegal in the States, I'd share it and discuss such with you. what an absolutely disappointing way to end a game that started off so greatly and with so much promise. really makes ya wonder if there next game is even worth investing in, especially since the protag is just some blonde bimbo with hot air balloons posing as tits cause thats sooooo original ~_~

I started this game recently but from what I have read it's a shame what happened to it. MC is just S-tier design. I'm sure she would have sold very well if she was a gacha character. She really does look like an ethereal elf queen.

At least we got top tier foot scenes which is nice.

Sure, the art style might change, but it doesn't mean the game would become worse
Now we have an underdeveloped game with a PEAK protagonist and dev's making another game but with a boring ass MC design this time

I'm really fucking sad, I even wanted to buy the game on Steam and I was really excited about it
God please send us a developer that will make a great game with a petite protagonist
