i would guess the artist has some sorta "copyright claim" on Elydia's design, so much so that a new artist would have to change her so much she would pretty much look like a different character. (this copey excuse of mine makes more sense than to just drop the game cause the artist left lol)

I'm saying that even if you MTL the entire thing at least proof read it and correct the grammatical errors. Its the difference between lazy fuckers who just feed the entire script to the machine and people who put in the effort even when using MTL. I've seen lots of games on this site that uses MTL but still reads like someone actually translated it because they proof read it and correct grammatical errors after being MTL'ed. This game in particular obviously just got fed into the machine with no proof reading done afterwards. Also if you have a basic reading comprehension you would understand that my original comment is not showing surprise that this game is MTL, its showing disdain that there's seems to be no proof reading done after being MTL'ed.
you've clearly never seen a proper translation compared to an MTL that's been "sanity checked" by someone who doesn't know the original language, but has just about enough brains to tell when the MTL starts to sound like nonsense

And they get named after the person who did the sanity check. MTL is the signal for the quality of the translation.
You can find some, it becomes harder to find one willing to put their name on a loli game cause it opens them up to harassment.
I think you should check back on what MTL stands for. Ive done my fair share of proofreading and editing MTL works but i have never had the Gal nor was i delusional enough to think my works is actual "translation".
if you put a whole ass game's script into google translate and try to check if it did a good job of translating the language you don't fucking understand, you're not doing a proper translation, you're editing an MTL
Yeah idk.. I think in general alot of artists love money and only some will have morals like those in the west, there's definitely alot of jp artists who wouldn't care and get that "bag" IMO
if sites like pixiv have taught me anything its that most jap artists have zero problem drawing petit and loli girls, hell i bet most would even go further than that. =|
